I totally agree, within my household there's a bitter divide...I'm passionate about preparing, hubby is blind as a bat. So I've decided to keep my mouth shut and quietly prepare, keeping it to myself. Not everyone can see what's coming and you can't make them see.

I was meant to hear this today. Yesterday I got into an argument with my OWN kids (18 & 16 years old). Both said they don't want to hear about the negative things going on in the world today as this causes them anxiety.
I told them these things are happening whether they like it or not and they're old enough now to work on becoming stronger human beings.
Their father is exactly the same. He believes if he doesn't think about it, it won't happen. I'm the only one that's preparing with absolutely no support 😔Everything I'm doing is for my kids. I'm just very sad but you're right, I can't change them. I just have to keep preparing as best I can.

I am so convicted to leave this life in NYC that my husband and I bought a house in Tennessee. I have been watching you and other self sufficient homesteaders for 6 years. We found our true home with like minded church and neighbors. I am tired of explaining to my liberal family and friends because they will never get me. God bless your message and God bless you.

My husband spent literally hours every week (for decades) trying to help red-pill his family to no avail. That is until this past week. Out of nowhere both his parents are suddenly awakening and understanding what he's been saying for years. So you're absolutely right. We are past the point of trying to convince people because if his family is finally getting it, then the time is truly over for convincing. The others have been warned and it's on them if they ignored it.

My father always told us to question everything ESPECIALLY those who try to convince you that "you're crazy" and dismiss you. We are on the right path and must persevere, and teach our kids to teach their kids. My teenager thinks I'm crazy and I keep telling him it's better to know how just in case you need to know how.

I just came back from doing maintenance on my husbands grandma’s house that sits empty (she’s in a home) and there is nothing in that place I’d want as it’s in a gated community on a postage stamp piece of land. Even though she lived through the war, she had long forgotten the struggle or decided to not care anymore. That property, as ‘valuable’ as it is is worthless because it’s sitting idle. I don’t want to say the same goes for people but it’s very close too.
I keep pressing my husband to move to more land; I don’t need a fancy new house, just a functional one and more land to grow food on as I’m limited to what I can grow here.
I’ve said my peace to far away family, they don’t want to listen to the youngest sibling/child even though I’m holding the spirits of my grandmothers. They want to believe they know best but all the warning signs are there.
    Pray constantly.
Be ready, for the day of the Lord is coming.

You have to question everything today. Born in 54 I've seen the "innocence" I grew up with is gone. God is pretty much gone, but that will change in a hurry. Individualism is gone. Personnel responsibility is gone. Honesty is gone. Self reliance is gone. Reason is gone . troubling times. Treasure God fearing like minded people. Be self reliant, prepared and most of all strengthen you relationship with you Maker. I can't figure out how this will all go down, but what matters most after all we can do is faith and trust in God. I may be moving to Texas or Missouri from Utah where it never rains. Helluva time to start over

Holy smokes. God just spoke to me through you. I have literally been struggling with this very subject for the last few weeks. Been parallelized with inaction trying to get a message out to people that simply won't listen because I feel like everything we know and love is hanging on a cliff edge. This includes friends, family as well as strangers. Not knowing what to do or say to wake people up has been very very frustrating and exhausting. I already know that we can't make decisions for people and many won't receive it at all, but that just adds to my frustration. I've become caught in a vicious cycle and have been neglecting my own family trying save everyone. I now know and believe what I must do. Prepare my own mind, body and spirit as well as being "prepped" home wise. It starts today.
I am the one person that needed your message !!
Thank you for being obedient to the Spirit. :)

Amen sister...I'm 70 yrs. old and I raised 4 children...It wasn't easy, but when you have to put food on the table you find a way. I trust God to take care of me and mine, but He tells us to prepare...Just like the ant, store up food for the winter, or Joseph, storing up grain. I have taught my kids to do the same.

Having spread the word, you owe them NOTHING more.
    My Granny Mac told me,
"There comes a time when you have to stop crossing oceans for people that wouldn't step over a puddle for you."
Some people will NEVER get "it". Walk away. Just walk away, and take care of yourself. If they don't listen, it's _their choice!_
Remember the Ant and the Grasshopper? When the cold Winter came, the Ant reminded the Grasshopper...
"You may dance this Winter to the tune you played last Summer."
People ignored and ridiculed Noah too. 😉

They all drive new cars, go on vacation, have nails done etc. I am tired of worrying about them. I have given them over to God. That being said, we're going to find out pretty soon that the best lifestyle for men and women was how the majority of people out in the country lived around the turn of the 20th century, with just enough technology to make our lives easier, but not so much to be a distraction.

I have saved the bones from every piece of meat we eat for years. Special bonus is the ham bone and turkey carcass. They are the base for amazing soups and stews. I learned this from my Mom and Grandma. Grandma raised a family during the depression. I keep even a smidgen of leftover vegetables, either freeze them for soup or chop them up to go into eggs. We have the financial means to not have to save every little thing but I just can't toss out perfectly good food.
Grandma knew right....her soup with bones is now what is known as bone broth.😊

I used to treat the elderly and I used to ask them what the Depression was like. Each was very different based on where they lived ( coastal vs central USA) and their economic status (rich or poor).
To sum it up the coastal poor were far better off than all others. They didnt really feel pain of losing jobs bc they worked their land and had option of fishing and hunting with the whole family in agreement.
Today all this is lost so do whats best for you and pray.
Remember only a remnant will be saved.

My mom was a depression child and she taught me how to can, how to save food, how to repurpose many items.
Bless her heart, she saved string, paper bags, plastic bags, cardboard boxes, literally everything and threw nothing away. But I learned from her how to cook, clean, save food, and as she said many a time "put food by". Many people think that grocery stores and Walmart will always be available or even worse, that they will always have the money to buy things. Sadly, that is not the case for most people..SS is not very much to live on and if you don't know how to save and put food by..you will be in real trouble.

I keep drifting into trying to 'help' people see what's really going on.
Bottom line is that most of them don't care, are too afraid to look, or they get pissed at me when I try nudge them toward the 'red pill'.
The fact that I can't reach them frustrates and depresses me.

I've written down a bunch of his recipes and hints. I keep books with recipes, hints, tips, and all. I love to go through them often. I have your biscuit recipe and others there. I'm learning the things to help in a crisis and to be able to help others. Have a great evening. God bless💕

You're so right on. I spent most of 2020 trying to help those around me see what was really going on. We also moved out to a homestead last July. In January, after working full-time, getting a homestead started *and* trying to convince everyone of what I was seeing, I stopped. I still work, I still focus on the homesteading. But I'm no longer trying to wake people up. God showed me it's time to build and ark, so that's what we're doing. It's slow going, but one or two dinners a week now are completely from our land. The time to talk is over. It's time to do.

You are right on the money! The almighty dollar is running most people, but having skills like you do is more valuable than money. I am a breast cancer survivor and I just don't have the physical capability or property to grow huge crops, but I have farms all around and can buy bushels of beans or peaches and can them up. I have lots of skills I learned from my grandparents that grew up in the depression. I have a manual typewriter, sewing skills, and am trying to buy up non-electric kitchen tools and other tools for home use. I am prepared for the lights to go out. Plus I figure I can barter my skills that people need. I love the idea of a series of videos.

Thank you! I have a burden on my heart to bring others to Christ, and to help people. I've been screaming from the roof tops and it seems the louder I ring the warning bell the less people listen. I am housebound with a brain wasting disease... I have no physical ability to help at all. I will remember to continue to sew the seeds of truth and rely on prayer to let Jesus take it from there. God bless you.

“Speak again, thou sweet lips that never told a lie.” Sadly many will not heed your powerful and truthful words. However, maybe the seeds you have planted will take root and grow, hopefully before it’s to late. I’m prepping my brains out as efficiently as I can. God bless you Patara, , stay safe and stay well. You are one of His own and teaching us , helping us to do and be better.

Oh how I know! All, and I mean all of my family and friends look at us sideways. We bought property in Tazwell last year as a place of refuge for my family. We are finally moving from the city in VA next spring. We have watched the change from 2007 and now is the time to go. It's very bittersweet. They know why we're going and secretly are thankful but tell the grands that it's just crazy granny's farm. At least there will be security.

It's what our elders called "common sense". My grandmother died in 1999 aged 92, yet she never knew what hot running water was, never had an electric or gas over, hers was a wood fired oven. No flushing toilet, theirs was a hole in the ground out the back the property in northern Greece. Never ate anything from a packet, grew her own vegetables, fruit, had her own goats, chickens and pigs, bartered their animal meat for fresh milk and cheese from the villagers. Everyone had a plot of land which they grew their own vegetables and fruits. No one paid for stuff. It was a barter system. I gave her a packet of chips when I visited in 1988 , it was the first time she had anything processed and the last time. That was simple, honest living. She lacked nothing. Everything was ENOUGH and she was deeply grateful for it all too. By the way she worked right up until she died. Generalising here but she most likely worked 85 years of her life without a break.

I had the same thought, start working on stretching out meals. I'm quite overweight, so I want to make it a gradual thing so my body gets used to it without freaking out. It's me and God over here, everyone else is not on board on this with me, even my spouse which is a shame but seems to be a common theme (until they have "proof" with their own eyes of course). Trying not to be bitter about that but it's hard not to get mad at feeling abandoned on something so important.

Just stumbled across this video and I’m so glad I did..I really needed to hear this. The heaviness I have on my heart for my family and friends is overwhelming sometimes because they just don’t have any discernment, and I feel a bit more free knowing that it really is ok to at some point just let go and let God do his thing.

Hi from KY Appalachia. This message was spot on. If we feel an ill wind kicking up - we need to adjust our sails. If the storm passes, we can re-adjust. Likewise, if we are battened down when the storm rages, we are more likely to come out on the other side. It is a personal choice, not all will understand. Lead by example. Hugs to you.

It's ok to focus on ourselves and our path. Along with your focus on physical health please focus on your mental health as well. Work to maintain your peace within no matter your circumstances. Blessings to you my friend from Texas.

    "The Great Depression"
lasted more than ten years so I decided to extend our supplies and also add a few new items. Thanks🤠🤠

Questioning everything is good and all but we also need to except truthful answers. People question things all the time but only want to hear what they want. Truth is always truth like it or not.

Thank you for reminding me of these truths. God is the only one who can truly convict others of their ignorant ways. It is not my responsibility to change others minds, but it is my responsibility to focus on my children and husband and myself. Focusing on what God would have us learn and grow in.

I just found you for the first time today. I am so grateful. I am suffering right now, I am surrounded by people that don't think for themselves and do NOT understand how I think. It's so lonely. I was born in the 70's and I long for the 50's. The current state of this world is too disturbing. You are so right, I am trying to stay focused on making my space the place that makes me happy, all the time. I needed to hear your message today, thank you.
