    I was brought here from your page for the middle marker creation, I’ve done several on personal wraps but they don’t look awesome, this is an amazing, helpful tutorial!!

      Complex weaving was the driving force behind the invention of computers.

    Glad to have found this channel, I look forward to going back and catching up on past episodes. (Saw your first studio tour, and then lost track of you) Loved the tips on this one, .... I would be very interested in a future episode if you went a tad more in-depth on how your turned selvedges work. Would love to incorporate those into a standard jack loom, and if I understood them a little better, it would be helpful (even a rough hand drawn visual so I can see how the warp ends actually behave with the weft.) Anyway....excited to go back and watch your past vids!. TY.

      Thank you so much! I was posting here and there for years, but only decided to get serious about creating content back in April of this year. I will try to make a vide about the selvages! I know i just barely touched on them in this video. I just got a new warp one of my looms yesterday, so today might actually be a good day to take a closer look.

    It's good to hear that not all wraps need to be silk!! Everywhere you look, that's most of what you see! Thanks for the tips and dimensions and the time it took you to make this!

    Hi, do you mean minimum 8 shafts for main weave plus 4 additional shaft to have doubleweave for selvedges, so minimum total 12 shafts loom?

    • @Rebecca.Robbins
      @Rebecca.Robbins  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I started weaving babywraps on 4 shaft looms. You definitely don’t need more. I use 16 shaft compu-dobby looms, so yes, I use a minimum of 12 shafts but it’s not necessary.

      @@Rebecca.Robbins thanks for your reply. I have two more questions. I can only do baby wraps on counterbalance or countermarch looms but not jack looms right? Cause CB and CM looms have even tension and shed? What is the minimum and maximum weaving width loom for baby wraps? I was thinking that baby wraps will be the biggest one whole piece item I’m thinking of learning to weave so that is why.
