Don't stress! The past 5 years have been challenging for me. Each year i've felt like the holiday was just running away from me. It was last year I decided I was not going to worry about being behind in my decorating because aren't the weeks leading up to Christmas all about preparing the way for our Lord? My brother had Downs and he passed 4 years ago. He lived with me for 12 years and it was such a loss. He was so loving and funny and helpful. I miss him so much. He was 59 Just thought I'd share.. Love your laugh and videos. Keep them coming.

I’m so sorry for your loss! I lost a niece with learning difficulties and epilepsy almost 6 years ago! She was only 18 years old. I was very close to her. I feel your pain. She too was very loved. The whole town turned out for her service. 🙏

Our house is behind as well due to sickness. I have been looking everywhere for the playing cards of Christmas shows. I've been trying to go to the stores every other day. Id like to get one of each of the Christmas shows for gifts and then a couple for junk journaling. I'm also hunting the makeup bags, those would be a good donation. I'm adding that tool to my list, for me, I think I seen that at one of the dollar trees about a couple weeks ago, I just thought it was a hammer.

The original mountain Santa (Mike howard) passed away a few yrs back and now it's his wife and son that took over and is carrying on with the mountain Santa program. I feel you about the decorating. But I have to remember that it was not that long ago that I was homeless and had nothing. I’m very grateful to even have a place to decorate. I do really dislike how early it gets dark.

Be careful with the timer candles I heard that some have had the batteries get very hot in the plastic battery compartment! I bought some to put in the windows for Christmas and I haven’t had any issues with them getting hot

My 27 year old daughter is getting The Office cards in her stocking when she comes home for Christmas. I got them at Dollar Tree of course.
