- So its time for an unboxing! I bought a little stainless steel cooking pot. And it does fit perfect with my optimus svea 123!

I bought this same pot but from the uk bushcraft site you mentioned, it arrived today and a web search brought me here to your video. Thanks for making this video and sharing it, you made me smile and laugh in a good way. The very best with your own journey. I started my own about 5 years ago.
Yes thats the site where i first found it. And then found the exact same pot on a swedish site but with NO branding. :)
@@swedishhiker I think the branding will rub off soon enough. PS I carry a filed blunt tent peg cut to size in the pot for lifting the lid to peak or lifting the pot off the flames by the handle. PPS an awesome ZZTop beard :D
Nice find. I just rebuilt my old Svea, and will try to find one of these. Love your rooster. Our rooster crows like that when I try to make videos. I think he wants to be on TH-cam!
Found the same thing works with the Soto Thermolite Pot Set I just bought. I like this set because it comes with a pot cosy so makes holding the hot pot easier when eating a meal out it. I have to put a thin cloth over the stove tho so while the pot is over it for storage, so it doesn't scratch the inside of the pot. Like the look of this one tho as it won't get scratched, well there's no coating to get scratched off whilst in transit. Thanks for sharing

Good find! I use the 20 oz. GSI Stainless Steel Cup/Pot on my 123 stoves. The batwing handles fold closely to the cup. It fits over the 123 well and the cup and stove then go into a zippered padded case. The 123 case should still be available on Ebay from South Korea. The Trangia Tea Kettle lid will fit on the GSI Cup/pot if one wants to take a lid along.
