I love the range they have. The contrast between the laid back style of this song, then the blues style of Can’t Go On Without You and then they go more rock with No Good. They’re incredible.
Fantastic band and his voice is amazing! Check out the studio version of Break My Baby by Kaleo. Funky vibe and great guitar riffs. Also Hot Blood, and studio version of Skinny. Nice reaction!
Someone has suggested "Break my Baby", a phenomenal song. I would say react to their live version filmed at Pridrangar (sp?). It sounds just as good as the studio version, and the accompanying scenery is simply breathtaking!!!... This would be an excellent follow-up, but then again they're simply amazing every time... you just can't go wrong w/them!
Check out No Good live @ united, I can't go on without you live on the current, break my baby, hey Gringo, way down we go, Skinny. Seriously ALL of their songs are awesome. They're folky, bluesy, rocky with a little gospel too. Kaleo is an icelandic band and the word Kaleo is Hawaiian and means "the voice".
My absolute favorite band... thx so much for covering them! Loved it!!! They pronounce their name in English as ka-LAY-o, accent on the 2nd syllable. Here is a recent interview th-cam.com/video/NEJxg0dVPPw/w-d-xo.html where the lead singer begins by pronouncing the name both in English and in his native Icelandic. It's actually a Hawaiian name that means 'the voice" -- quite fitting, I'd say!
Their Icelandic, which explains my bias towards them lol. Formed in Mosfellsbær(small town of 12k a little east of Reykjavík) in 2012. Their biggest hit is Way Down We Go. Great song. Was used in the Logan trailer a few years back. Was floored and extremely proud of them when I heard it. Way Down We Go No Good Glass House Hot Blood Automobile That whole album is great but those are my standouts.
Wow, such a beautiful song! The vocals are soo soulful, and I loved the peaks and valleys in the energy of the song, it's almost like being in the waves of an ocean. This isn't the style of music I would normally go for, but that was amazing. Great choice Stebbie! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Your videos are appreciated 🙏 Kaleo has really brought back bluesy music for me, I'd love to be able to shoot you some other great artists I've come across adjacent to them
@@KurtisB Whaaaaaa?? I never expected to make it this far... 😂 Would you rather another live performance by Kaleo, or a smaller bluesy/jazzy artist? (Both will be appropriately super thanked 😉)
The correct pronunciation in English is ka-LAY-o, w/the accent on the 2nd syllable. It's pronounced differently in Icelandic. J.J. pronounces both versions as he introduces himself and the band in a recent interview th-cam.com/video/NEJxg0dVPPw/w-d-xo.html
GREAT reaction to an AMAZINGLY talented band!!!!! 🔥😍👍👌😁
Dive into this band, they are awesome. Everything they do is great. Enjoyed!
Jökull has so much soul in his voice, and he's an extremely talented vocalist. Hey Gringo is a good one if you want more of a funky vibe lol

LOVE THE VOICE!! PARTS OF THE SONG GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS.

Backbone is also an incredible song of their, bit more of their more intense vocals here.
Kaleo is a great Band! his voice is insane , the feeling that he has when he sings is incredible, hope you can see them live!
You definitely know their most famous song. But listen to >Way down we go< in their live 🌋 volcano version!
I love the range they have. The contrast between the laid back style of this song, then the blues style of Can’t Go On Without You and then they go more rock with No Good. They’re incredible.
Gotta watch their live performances in front of live volcanoes!

He most definitely can "Mariah" it! they cover "Bang Bang" By Cher and hits one of the craziest notes I've ever heard
Damn.. That was beautiful 😍I loved the guitar as well on this one.. I just really like it when they make a guitar sound like a soft synth almost 😄

Thank you for the Super Thanks! I really appreciate it! I'm always up for suggestions.

@@SkilledTadpole Well if you're going to let me choose, I'd love to see more from Kaleo!
@@KurtisB sounds good my man, check out Break my Baby Live from þrídrangar 👍
Their whole first album is great from front to back but I'd have to say my personal favorite is Broken Bones.
Your next one should be Kaleo - I Can't Go on Without You (live on 89.3 The Current)
Way down has to be next, tho I'm sure you'll have heard it before and didn't know it was them.
Break my baby or Hey Gringo for sure as well
Pronounced Cali-O

The English language are strange.
You pronounce the E like we use the I.
And you pronounce the I, like we say AI. 😉
