Another great video, Nick. If you haven't considered or used one, give a Mason's chisel a try for knocking out old seals. I use a 2-3" mason/masonary seal that can be purchased at most home improvement stores. Been using this method for many years. I too remove the seals from the pump, and/or tail shaft housing seals while the components are still bolted to the transmission. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.....

Thanks, Keltecfan! Will check out Mason's chisel, always looking for easier ways to remove those things so if it makes quicker work of them than my screwdriver, I'm in.

Thanks again for the content Nick. A few things: what are your thoughts on using something like Loctite 640 on the new bushing when you install it? I thought you used something similar on your video on repairing an input drum w/ a new shaft? Are those GM specified Kent Moore bushing drivers or just generic drivers that match the circumference of the bushing? Finally, how often is it that you see a bushing that won't fit over a yoke due to it being not "square" to the opening, i.e. one side is slightly higher then the other? Thanks again brother.

Thanks, Tony..You can use Loctite 640 or any of the red Loctite types. The bushing drivers are generic - bought them off eBay as a set about 10 years ago but you can get 4L60E/700R4-specific bushing driver sets (search Google, Amazon or eBay for sellers of these sets - you will find them if you need a set for yourself).
It's maybe one out of every 50 or so bushing kits where I get an ext housing bushing that is out of spec so actually glad it happened on camera as it will gives folks awareness around the possibility.
