i don't see what the deal is , years ago we used to walk cattle 16 miles to the fair and on the rare occasion walk them home again , and we were only in our early teens , often home before our father ,and he was driving ,
I used to walk cows when I was six years of age.i know traffic was few and far between.there are almost no cattle on roads now with traffic.the people today would actually drive through you .
Seriously I would clear that with the Gardai . Only common sense to walk them in but no way id walk continental stock in, they would bolt across the horizon.

Alot more vehicles on the road nowadays, and alot more insurance claims iswell.
