    Introduction:
Good day my dear tourists! Naimbag nga aldaw viajeros! I’m Angelo but you can call me Gelo for short, and I will be your tourist guide for today! On behalf of Wonderwall Travel and Tours, it is our pleasure to be of service to you! By the way, I would like you to meet our coach captain Carlo. Say hello to sir Carlo! Thank you! Before we proceed, Let me first say a few friendly reminders for your safety and comfort throughout the tour! First, always be mindful of your valuable belongings! Second, don’t just leave the group without permission and please stay with the group as much as possible. This is necessary for your safety. As for the rules and regulations, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the bus and also in public areas! More importantly, we must not litter anywhere to give respect to our environment! Lastly, if you have any questions that needs clarification, don’t hesitate to call my attention! Is that clear? Good! While we are waiting to arrive at our first destination, let me tell you about a brief background about Ilocos Norte!
    Brief Background:
Welcome to Ilocos Norte! The province of Ilocos Norte is located at the northwest corner of Luzon Island. It is known for being the birthplace of our Former President Ferdinand E. Marcos. It is also known as a northern tourist destination, being the location of Fort Ilocandia, Hotel, Resort and Casino. The climate in Ilocos Norte is warm to hot all year round. Due to lesser rain, the best time for travelling is from November to April. To start our tour, let’s go to our first destination!
    1st Destination: Bangui Windmills
Welcome to Bangui Windmills or also known as Bangui Wind Farm. It is a Northwind Bangui Bay Project owned by Northwind Power Development Corporation, founded in 1786 and three towns away due north from the provincial capital of Laoag City. The turbines face the sea from where the prevailing wind blows towards the land. The windmills have attracted hundreds of thousands of tourists and made the province one of the top 10 tourist destinations in the Philippines. That’s all for our Bangui Windmills Tour! Let us now proceed to our next destination!
    2nd Destination: Patapat Viaduct
Welcome to Patapat Viaduct! The Patapat Viaduct is an elevated road over 30 meters above sea level, the fourth longest bridge in the country. This winding concrete beauty is said to be the northernmost roadway part of Ilocos Norte. It was completed and opened to traffic in October 1986. That’s all for Patapat Viaduct Tour! Let us know go to our 3rd destination!
    3rd Destination: Quirino Bridge
Welcome to the scenic Quirino Bridge is named after the late former President, Elpidio Qurino, 6th President of the Philippines, and it spreads across the Abra river connecting the rocky mountain slopes of the town of Santa and the tail end of Bantay. Otherwise referred to as ‘Banaoang bridge’, it majestically connects and separates two transcending mountains and widely praised because of its marvelous engineering and grand architectural design as glorified by its splendid panoramic beauty, strength and durability when it survived the bombings of World War II. That sums up our tour at the Quirino Bridge! Let us now head to our next destination!
    4th Destination: Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
Welcome to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse or also known as Burgos Lighthouse because it is located in the town of Burgos. The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is a cultural heritage structure in Ilocos Norte. It stands on top of Vigia de Nagparitan Hill, overlooking Cape Bojeador. It’s been more than 100 years since it was established and still fully functional. That finishes our amazing tour at Cape Bojeador Lighthouse! Let us now hop to our 5th destination!
    5th Destination: Vigan, Calle Crisologo
Welcome to Vigan’s Famous Calle Crisologo! Unknown to many, before the name Calle Crisologo street, it was called Calle Escolta de Vigan upon the discovery of the town by Juan de Salcedo in 1572.
The street served as the commercial hub in the entire Northern Luzon and was established even before the Galleon Trade. Calle Crisologo street is a shopping haven! You will see the whole street lined up with lots of cool restaurants, souvenir shops, and antique shops. The best part, everything is so affordable so you don’t have to spend a fortune when shopping for souvenirs. Riding the horse carriage or kalesa is a famous mode of transportation in Calle Crisologo street. The rates range from PHP 500 depending on how far and how long you’ll rent it. That ends our Calle Crisologo Tour! Let us now move to our next destination!
6th Destination: Malacanang of the North
Welcome to the Malacanang of the North! Malacañang of the North served as the official residence of the Marcoses when their patriarch, Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., was still the president. It is a sprawling compound found at the shores of Paoay Lake. The house itself was a gift from former First Lady and current Representative of the 2nd District of Ilocos Norte, Imelda Marcos to her husband. It was eventually given back to the Ilocos Norte local government and was re-opened in 2011 as a museum.
That sums up our Malacanang of the North Tour! Let us now proceed to our last destination!
    Last Destination: Paoay Sand Dunes
Welcome to Paoay Sand Dunes! Be sure to bring extra clothes for hygiene purposes! Paoay Sand Dunes is an 88-hectare spread of sand and wild landscape, is a favorite not just of tourists, but of budding sand boarders and surfers. Its said that Paoay Sand Dunes is a protected area and classified as a non-disposable public land. Experience a different kind of thrilling adventure as they take you to a scream-worthy and breathtaking roller coaster ride along the trails of Paoay Sand Dunes through a 4×4 jeep. Down the hill, you’ll be able to go down to take pictures. That ends our Paoay Sand Dunes Tour!
