Man investing ores for equipment and then getting nerfed is so heartbreaking. I am already struggling to upgrade those epic equipments to level 21. I don't know how to max those equipments, so frustrating 😢
@itzueng-clashofclans exactly. Rootrider or overgrowth nerfs weren't that bad because elixir is in surplus. But ores are si rare and supercell nerving equipment and not refunding ores was the worst part of 2024 clash. And now I am scared to upgrade equipment. Also I will soon upgrade to th 16 and 3 extra levels per epic is too much without any reliable source fir starry ores.
I really liked the old equipment chart, because it was more general and as a lower th i cant use most of the strategies mentioned here. I suggest adding it to the end

You can still use rocket spear with electro boots: At the start itself; or with revive - RC charge with ko ability off, let her die and lure cc, start your main army, once RC is safe, revive her and use rocket spear for backend. The time she takes to exhaust the spears will also allow her to recover the hp that revive doesn't recover. The main army can be anything, etitans, root riders, hydra with yeti blimp etc.,
I know I said the army could be anything but personally I'd go with etitans because you won't need a lot of spell support and it'll take care of the CC. 3 etitans, 5 healers, 1 root rider, 1 ice golem, 1 apprentice, 3 headhunters, 3 super wallbreakers + 2 druids + cleanup. Something along those lines with warden rage gem + eternal tome, king spiky boots, queen mirror healers. I saw carbonfin use rocketloons to help the RC. If we did that, we'd have 12 rocket loons, 3 etitans, 5 healers, 1 apprentice, 3 headhunters, cleanup. Same hero equipment setting. Pets I'm not sure about the warden, maybe diggy. Queen with unicorn or frosty, king with phoenix or yak should do. Seige machine will be wither seige barracks or flame flinger. If we're using flinger we can set it sooner while RC charging to get value and set a funnel for the main army. In some cases battle drill could work but 99% of the time barracks and flinger will do the job. Even among the two, I think barracks woll be used most of the time. CC can have valks or yetis, personally prefer valks. Put out of the two armies Id opt for something in between. A couple rocket loons less but fill that space with an ice golem. This will allow seige barracks and queen to get better value when there's heavy dps outside or when there's heavy dps on the get go for the main army and you need the freeze effect for the main army. Spells: 2 eq, 1 revive, 1 rage, 6 invis + 2 freeze or 8 invis. Eq is to help RC. Rage to help RC or main army. Freeze for main army mostly.
So best ones to upgrade Definitely Spiky Ball, Earthquake Boots and Healer Puppet because they are literally in every Strategy and the others depend on what you play

Don't use hogs with electro titan if you were about to use it as invis RC. The hog could lire all the splash damage like fire spitter, TH17, and scatter shot resulting in collateral damage om RC
To be honest, Gauntlet and rage could still have had an honorable mention. Its still very good, and this town hall balance wise is much better than th16 hands down. All combos work well if you play the attacks properly. I will 100% be trying electro boots with qc hybrid when I get them
I wouldn’t say other King and Queen equipments are useless just good for strategies that are not meta like the Frozen arrow and the gauntlet. Double epic on the Queen is the best for Queen charge attacks but since they are out of the meta instead suing the Queen is best and the equipment we use is just the best for that. Kinda similar with the Guantlet it still have same strength as it had before but buffing the earthquake boots made people switch to the spiky ball because it synergieses better with the Earthquake boots. Same for the haste vial, it’s still really strong for attacks that the RC is just behind the army but people consider the rocket spear better and they are using it.

for the og root rider spammers like myself, i think electro boots and royal gem will fit perfectly if the royale champion is played behind the main army. protection from skeleton traps, helps damage area, deals with cc better, fkn heals itself and provides support as usual. i think it's my new favorite hero gear after giant gauntlet.
For super witch attacks I've been experimenting with fox on queen and diggy with shield and spear on rc for the back side. Bc the champ stays back early not having the fox doesn't hurt as bad. Having the fox on the queen though is amazing. She basically never dies unlike the rc which many times dies as the rc can get ahead of the army. Would love to see a video where you try that out.

Itzu you once said when the equipment balance changes came out, that nothing much changed, and that the nerfed equipments are just balanced and will still be used regularly. But then literally no one use giant gauntlet anymore, the primary reason people got mad at the balance change. Rn most players have high leveled gauntlet just collecting dust. Then you also said hog+haste was still better. And to prove your point you never switch it out except for air attacks for some months. But turns out after none of the pros used that combo anymore, it was abundantly clear that the balance change did changed everything. And that rocket spear got used in every attack with either shield or hogs. I'm typing this out just because you defended the balance change so vehemently. When people were worried, you said their old equipments will still be meta. But your predictions were wayy off, but you acted like nothing happened. It's just like that one youtuber who said lavaloon equipment was op without any proof.
Instead of listening to these content creators. Anyone who read this should just wait for pros to figure out the meta and adjust your loadout accordingly. They're just guessing like everyone else and the sad part is that when they predicted wrongly, they'd act like they it never happened.
The equipment that got nerfed hardly got touched. They are still really good equipment. The problem is that the equipment that got buffed were pushed over the top. So it’s not so much about the nerf as it is about the buffs to the other equipment being too strong
@@emwols that's why we complained about the nerfs, saying they should just buff other equipments if they want to balance them out. But they nerfed the meta equipments and buffed others, leading to this situation.
Do you feel it's important to have a tablet for the rocket loon strategy? I still have a lot of practice to do and I need to get a lot better, but it feels like I'm really handicapped scrolling through so many troops in spells during an attack that requires so much multitasking. I've never had double deployment bars but I'm wondering if the difference would actually be noticable.
It’s tough to do on phn but not very hard once you get used to it… i use iphone 13 pretty small screen for warden charge but now i manage it quite easily…. Just try to attack on full screen dont zoom in every 10 sec…
I reached 6k in legends end of season on my phone, you can still make it work. I was using warden charge fireball. The key is just making sure that the warden isn’t stepping into high damage before taking a quick seconds to look away. In general I also find it’s best to minimize the amount of troops that appear on your deployment bar. A simple tip for this is to only put spells in your clan castle that minimize space. For example if you use 2 rages and 2 freeze, don’t put 1 of each in your clan castle because it will then duplicate them to take up more space on your deployment bar. Usually I recommend putting a poison in the clan castle because you’ll only ever bring one of those, and then the other 2 space can be for a spell you only bring one of as well.
Finally someone that make a good video about equipment but keep it fair that it his opinion. Unlike the one that keep claiming the new equipment is always OP and broken (even lavaloon) to gain views (cough BDLegends)

Otherwise rage vial n gauntlet is still very good. And the current base design also providing more value to spiky ball n eq boots thats it . Its not like the other combo is unusable.
kind of sucks to get back into the game after not playing since before equipment. made the mistake of going for the frozen arrow (and gauntlet) with my gems because i though it looked cool and i used to queen charge a lot but as it turns out queen charge is super hard for 17 but i feel pigeonholed into it because i used all my ore. makes me feel like i cant do any of the other strategies because i dont have magic mirror, spiky ball, etc...
Why not both epics on RC? It gives it the long range possibility and when its depleted it stays strong in close range especially if u save up 2 or 3 invis spells? Especially both give increased dps. And i surely prefer this format

I prefer the older equipment chat because I'm free to play so I cannot afford to upgrade all the equipment, just the main 2 for each hero that I can use universally.

For dragon attacks, should I prioritize king equipment or minion prince? If I have limited ore it would be helpful to know priorities and how high to level things up. Like instead of taking giant arrow from 17 to 18, I could probably upgrade the minion prince dark arrow a few levels. Thanks for all the great content though itzu!
What should I do if I’m a relatively high level TH (TH15 now) but stopped playing not long after equipment was originally released so all my equipment is low. Need a priority list for this. Right now I have- King level 86 (Giant gauntlet level 16 and rage vial 14). Queen 85 (healer puppet 12 trying to get to 15 and invisibility vial 15). Warden 57 (eternal tome 18 and life gem 14). Royal champ 33 (shield 14 and royal gem 14). Many of my secondary equipment will be changed eventually but all other equipment is level 1 and I figure for example royal gem 14 is still better than rocket spear level 1. What should I upgrade as soon as I get healed puppet to 15 for 3rd healer?

You are sleeping on the giant gauntlet. It is still the best equipment in the game in my opinion. It takes a little more set up to get the value, but if you get that king in the right compartment with a phoenix he can destroy so much of the base
Royal Champ walk with E Boots is so much better. You get more value, with recall you can use her for later, AND you can now have warden eternal tome to keep your army alive longer. It's the new fireball baby!
King with spikey ball + boote, royale champ with shield and rocket, warden walk with fireball rage and healers + recall spell, 2 eq 4 zap max Base is gone to be finished with rest troops I ran this in cwl champs II, got every single base 3*
Probably electro boots. Giant gauntlet, frozen arrow, and fireball do not have much synergy with root rider and valk spam except maybe frozen arrow but frankly magic mirror and healer puppet would be better than frozen arrow.
Well this is rough. Coming back to the game after a long break I watched a some videos talking about the kings gauntlets being the best and invested most of my ore in those. Now I'm seeing them pretty much ignored for the spike ball? My bad I guess for thinking a few month old video was relevant. Curious though.. why did it change? Is the spike ball new or something? That was a really frustrating way to start the game back up again.
The Earthquakes boots were buffed massivly making it the best common equipment to pair with an epic and the synergy between the spikey ball and eq boots is better than gauntled with the eq boots. That is the main reason.
@itzueng-clashofclans Oh okay. Reguardless it's very disappointing to have invested so much into gauntlets. Not the fault of the CC's that a buff changed the meta, but it was enough for me to likely quit again. Very bad experience, and bad timing I guess.
Spirit fox give 4 sec invisibility plus electro boot has 60 hps. That boost 240 healing. Pair with hog puppet for extraa survivability. She will be fine. I was currently using hog puppet and seaking shield 🛡️, i guess need to change the shield.
If I have a mainly dragon and ballon army after I use supper archers in a blimp. What equipment should I use in the grand warden. I use the eternal tome and life gem but I dont know if to change the life gem?

As a solo player, it was a nightmare during CWL at Champion III, so although undefeated, I just placed 2nd in our group. If you already have rocket spear upgraded a good amount and you don’t own fireball yet, I would grab the fireball- this is assuming that you are a good attacker and think you would be good at executing warden charges. If you are more of a spammer though you are better off with electro boots

@@emwols the strongest meta strategy is Warden walk into fireball. And rocket spear is way better in this strategy. For normal mode, dragon attacks are also the easiest and one of the strongest. And rocket spear is still better here.

Supercell should add other methods to earn ores they are litreally so hard to get.And it feels impossible to max other epic equipments.

For mass drag spam I like to bring minion prince and RC instead of BK. Helps in taking out TH if missed in the spam

A bigger screen is for sure an advantage and makes things easier. But it is not Impossible to do warden charges on smaller devices.

For example if you use 2 rages and 2 freeze, don’t put 1 of each in your clan castle because it will then duplicate them to take up more space on your deployment bar. Usually I recommend putting a poison in the clan castle because you’ll only ever bring one of those, and then the other 2 space can be for a spell you only bring one of as well.

Itzu said after the balace changes that hog+haste was still stronger and that gauntlet will still be regularly used, when people were mad at the nerfs. Look at the current state of the game.

@@malsawmzela609 Gauntlet is not dead, many people are using it. Spiky ball is better in most cases, but I am using the gauntlet on one of my th17's and it works completely fine with eq boots
@@malsawmzela609they are still strong equipment it’s just the current combination of eq boots n spiky balls makes it a bit easier for smash attacks that’s it . Otherwise rage vial n gauntlet is still very good. And the current base design also providing more value to spiky ball n eq boots thats it . Its not like the other combo is unusable.

kind of sucks to get back into the game after not playing since before equipment. made the mistake of going for the frozen arrow (and gauntlet) with my gems because i though it looked cool and i used to queen charge a lot but as it turns out queen charge is super hard for 17 but i feel pigeonholed into it because i used all my ore. makes me feel like i cant do any of the other strategies because i dont have magic mirror, spiky ball, etc...
Showing the best combinations for each of the the top strategies is perfect 😁👍
the rc walk with invis, fox and recall works well with both the epic equipments. put her with the rest of your army after recall then pop the ability
Why not both epics on RC? It gives it the long range possibility and when its depleted it stays strong in close range especially if u save up 2 or 3 invis spells? Especially both give increased dps. And i surely prefer this format

I prefer the older equipment chat because I'm free to play so I cannot afford to upgrade all the equipment, just the main 2 for each hero that I can use universally.

I have to show some equipments and can not show every possible combination. You can still threestar with other combinations.
I'm using giant gauntlet before but as I bought and upgrade my spickyball it is really a big difference dealing instant damage.

@@malsawmzela609yeah gauntlet is a loss now but hog puppet and haste still op. I used minion prince instead of bk(no spikey ball) and rc with hog+haste in clone loon attack. I made almost successful CWL season in master league 2. Just missed 21stars for 8%😢
With champion just active it early to get use out of the spear then boots for when it gets close

For dragon attacks, should I prioritize king equipment or minion prince? If I have limited ore it would be helpful to know priorities and how high to level things up. Prefer RC w rocket / shield with hydra vs BK, better option to take down ADs early or heavy D area while helping funnel

What should I do if I’m a relatively high level TH (TH15 now) but stopped playing not long after equipment was originally released so all my equipment is low. Need a priority list for this. Right now I have-
King level 86 (Giant gauntlet level 16 and rage vial 14).
Queen 85 (healer puppet 12 trying to get to 15 and invisibility vial 15).
Warden 57 (eternal tome 18 and life gem 14).
Royal champ 33 (shield 14 and royal gem 14).
Many of my secondary equipment will be changed eventually but all other equipment is level 1 and I figure for example royal gem 14 is still better than rocket spear level 1. What should I upgrade as soon as I get healed puppet to 15 for 3rd healer?

When you play dragon attacks go for shield and spear as shown in the video. :)
Always better to get common equipments to 17 not 18 and epic to 20 then start maxing out your equipments one by one

You are sleeping on the giant gauntlet. It is still the best equipment in the game in my opinion. It takes a little more set up to get the value, but if you get that king in the right compartment with a phoenix he can destroy so much of the base

Royal Champ walk with E Boots is so much better. You get more value, with recall you can use her for later, AND you can now have warden eternal tome to keep your army alive longer. It's the new fireball baby!

Probably electro boots. Giant gauntlet, frozen arrow, and fireball do not have much synergy with root rider and valk spam except maybe frozen arrow but frankly magic mirror and healer puppet would be better than frozen arrow.

Well this is rough. Coming back to the game after a long break I watched a some videos talking about the kings gauntlets being the best and invested most of my ore in those. Now I'm seeing them pretty much ignored for the spike ball? My bad I guess for thinking a few month old video was relevant. Curious though.. why did it change? Is the spike ball new or something? That was a really frustrating way to start the game back up again.
The Earthquakes boots were buffed massivly making it the best common equipment to pair with an epic and the synergy between the spikey ball and eq boots is better than gauntled with the eq boots. That is the main reason.
@itzueng-clashofclans Oh okay. Reguardless it's very disappointing to have invested so much into gauntlets. Not the fault of the CC's that a buff changed the meta, but it was enough for me to likely quit again. Very bad experience, and bad timing I guess.

Spirit fox give 4 sec invisibility plus electro boot has 60 hps. That boost 240 healing. Pair with hog puppet for extraa survivability. She will be fine. I was currently using hog puppet and seaking shield 🛡️, i guess need to change the shield.
If I have a mainly dragon and ballon army after I use supper archers in a blimp. What equipment should I use in the grand warden. I use the eternal tome and life gem but I dont know if to change the life gem?
I use rage gem - n it's so powerful with minion prince , queen , and RC

As a solo player, it was a nightmare during CWL at Champion III, so although undefeated, I just placed 2nd in our group. If you already have rocket spear upgraded a good amount and you don’t own fireball yet, I would grab the fireball- this is assuming that you are a good attacker and think you would be good at executing warden charges. If you are more of a spammer though you are better off with electro boots
Fireball is definitely best imo but you can buy it with gems like I did you should just get the new equipment

Im TH15 and currently run Giant Gauntlet and Spiky Ball on the King. That’s two epic equipments and I have them both just about maxed, so I thought I was safe with those equipment selections. Is a common equipment (the boots) really replacing one of those epic equipments for yall? Appears to replace Giant Gauntlet the most, so far that I’ve seen.

@@emwols the strongest meta strategy is Warden walk into fireball. And rocket spear is way better in this strategy.
For normal mode, dragon attacks are also the easiest and one of the strongest. And rocket spear is still better here.
