Shrinivas Rao was correct about non live content that happens around IPL. I was fed up with what Sony did with pre/post game shows when they had the rights. Star went with similar thing. An all star IPL should happen at the middle of the league just like MLB . In MLB its between National league and American league. Here we can divide like (csk, rcb, sunrisers,mi,gujrat) South West vs (punjab,Rajasthan,Delhi, lucknow, kkr ) North East
In 1975 India won Hockey world by beating Pakistan in final, show expert jee you are wrong when you spread your fact without real insight of sport knowledge, hockey or football are more popular in India than cricket but lack of clear administrative strategies lead Indian hockey and football down fall and rise of cricket and world cup 83 cherry on it
My question is will the new rights increase the purse of each team. It should but how will players be paid? Jos earns 10 cr, will he be paid 20 from next... Cause I don't think next mega auctions is happening again. Not soon...
Srinivas might be a good cricket reporter but he knows nothing about software or manufacturing in India. Best Product exported by India is UPI. It is used for more than Trillion dollar in transactions till date. IPL is nothing compared to it. Manufacturing: India makes fighter jets, missiles, world class cars, mobiles etc etc Technology wise ISRO competes with NASA and SpaceX. IPL is chillar and will start losing money if it does not evolve in next few years. It's already boring to watch
The world-class cars, jets and mobiles that you are talking about are all designed outside India. Not even the technology to produce these are developed in India. Having manufacturing plants and making stuff designed by others is not much to talk about. UPI is not an "export" in the sense that hardly anyone outside India even knows about it. ISRO does not compete with Tesla. It competes with SpaceX and unless they are able to design reusable rockets, SpaceX will leave them far behind in terms of the cost of launching satellites into orbit. And even though ISRO has been successful in what it has achieved to date, they haven't actually made any ground-breaking scientific breakthrough to expand our knowledge of space or humanity. This is in no way to undermine India's achievements but many Indians have a tendency to exaggerate India's success in the fields of technology and science while downplaying our achievements in the fields of arts, sports or culture.
@@AmanKumar-de1kc 40% of the world's digital transactions are happening in India. More than 30 countries are in talks with India for UPI adoption. IPL is watched only in Handful of countries. As far as designing is concerned a large number of technologies are designed and developed in india that used by multiple countries. One country cannot design and develop a jet or a car. India plays a very important role in designing and developing softwares from scratch that used by western countries in their assembly lines.

Although I'll agree that if we are able to export UPI to other countries, it'll be an achievement.
