She asks the right questions, let's them speak and doesn't cut them off mid sentence, complements them when it's appropriate, actually knows what she's talking about, has a soothing voice and doesn't raise it so the girls feel a lot more comfortable anwsering her questions and don't feel like they have to raise their voices to be heard and is funny, all of her jokes were on point. Honestly, I'd be ok if she was the only person who could interview fifth harmony for the rest of their carrers

None of them were very happy in 2016. It's not deep. Camila wanted to leave the group and the others wanted her to stay for one more album. That's basically it. Obviously that caused a lot of tension. Ultimately it was the label that was pitting Camila and the group against each other by offering Camila a solo deal at the expense of Fifth Harmony.

Loved this interview!!! I don't think Dinah was apologizing. She definitely was referring to Camila, but it wasn't an apology. I think she was saying that in general if they have problems with each other she wants to be able to talk it out with that person so that IF an apology is necessary (which is this case I don't think it is) she can genuinely do that and understand the others' perspective. I think she truly tried to be there for Camila & to bring her spirits up (hence the post at the end of tour and the dance video), but idt that Camila never truly let her in enough to understand how she was really feeling. It was so obvious that she was trying to be happy in public, but closed herself off for whatever reason bts. You can only help others as much as they let you, so whether Dinah tried to help or not, she could only do so much if Camila wasn't really letting her in. Besides I highly doubt that they hate her, like people try to say they do. You can tell that they've moved on and washed their hands of the situation. Nothing can be changed at this point.

Yes, I know that and that was after the fact. She said that she was hurting for awhile so I think her attempt to communicate came too late, the bond was already broken or too far gone at that point so it wouldn't have made a difference.
That was in terms of her leaving the group not the way that she was hurting, from my understanding. And she said those talks were done on their last tour together, she had been hurting long before then so like I said I think the communication came a little too late to salvage anything.

My favorite part of this interview is how he interviewer seems very genuine and actually interested in hearing their answers. A lot of other hosts will ask a question with a fake smile and fake attitude and say all these slang words like lit or slay or turn up just to sound relatable. Meredith(?) was very open and straightforward without sounding too cheesy or like she just wanted some sort of scoop. As well as the questions being very well worded and 3D. She isn't apologizing to anyone. She's just saying in a group you don't have to shy away at expressing your problems with one another. She's letting her group members know that you're able to express your feelings amongst each other and that you don't need to act like everything is okay. Only fourteen minutes and I think i learned more about them than the past five years that they've been asked about boy crushes and stupid irrelevant shit like that. Dinah was supporting her a lot more, dedicating IG posts to her, and singing along to her songs. So I think no matter what, something happened between them and I think they both feel bad - but Dinah probably feels worse because the girl wouldn't talk about it with her. What she said is that people need to communicate their problems so that they can be resolved, which is true for everyone. If Dinah's words were about Camila, which we don't know because they could be about anyone, then Camila had 1.5 years to say something. Camila could have said something when she skipped meetings and therapy sessions. Instead, she waited until after she left the group to try to contact them.

I don't think Dinah was apologizing. She definitely was referring to Camila, but it wasn't an apology. I think she was saying that in general if they have problems with each other she wants to be able to talk it out with that person so that IF an apology is necessary (which is this case I don't think it is) she can genuinely do that and understand the others' perspective. I think she truly tried to be there for Camila & to bring her spirits up (hence the post at the end of tour and the dance video), but idt that Camila never truly let her in enough to understand how she was really feeling. It was so obvious that she was trying to be happy in public, but closed herself off for whatever reason bts. You can only help others as much as they let you, so whether Dinah tried to help or not, she could only do so much if Camila wasn't really letting her in. Besides I highly doubt that they hate her, like people try to say they do. You can tell that they've moved on and washed their hands of the situation. Nothing can be changed at this point.

Yes, I know that and that was after the fact. She said that she was hurting for awhile so I think her attempt to communicate came too late, the bond was already broken or too far gone at that point so it wouldn't have made a difference.

I don't really care for 5H like that but I've been able to see them in concert twice. You can tell in this interview that all of them were so close and they were devastated when Camila left. Honestly couldn't even tell you a fun fact about any of these girls but I find myself laughing (in a good way) at the things they say. They really truly care for each other. Wow.

My favorite part of this interview is how he interviewer seems very genuine and actually interested in hearing their answers. A lot of other hosts will ask a question with a fake smile and fake attitude and say all these slang words like lit or slay or turn up just to sound relatable. Meredith(?) was very open and straightforward without sounding too cheesy or like she just wanted some sort of scoop. As well as the questions being very well worded and 3D. I'm gonna need her to conduct any 5H interview from now on
She isn't apologizing to anyone. She's just saying in a group you don't have to shy away at expressing your problems with one another. She's letting her group members know that you're able to express your feelings amongst each other and that you don't need to act like everything is okay.

This interviewer did such an amazing job at showing us a different side of the girls. Only fourteen minutes and I think i learned more about them than the past five years that they've been asked about boy crushes and stupid irrelevant shit like that. Props to this gorgeous interviewer and our girls. I'm so excited for their new album.

Honestly, I dun care whose fault is it. Just because it's 4v1, doesnt mean that one person would always be the one to take all the blame. I just wanna see some Caminah again, Dinah was literally singing along to "Bad Things" and showing her support to Camila and Camila acknowledged it right before she left the group. I feel Dinah really wants to reach out to Camila but the other 3 girls are also one of the reasons why she dare not because its kinda clear that the other 3 girls are still not on good terms with Camila.
When will all this drama end? I do think that was an apology to that girl only because it came from Dinah. If it came from Normani or Ally, I would've thought it was about anybody. If it came from Lauren, I would've somewhat thought it was about the girl. But I only say this because She and Dinah had such a close relationship throughout the past five years but especially in the last 3 months they were together as a quintet. Dinah was supporting her a lot more, dedicating IG posts to her, and singing along to her songs. So I think no matter what, something happened between them and I think they both feel bad - but Dinah probably feels worse because the girl wouldn't talk about it with her.
Because of this, I now think that slow song about asking someone questions is about Dinah.
The interviewer was so nice and respectful. She asked the right questions. Didn't talk over them. Actually listened to their answers. And she is so gorgeous on top of it all. I really like her

I didn't hear no damn apology. What I heard was, "I can't read your fucking mind, so don't expect me to. If I did something, wrong, then open up your damn mouth and tell me that. If I know that I did something wrong, then I can apologize." Dinah didn't admit to doing anything wrong. What she said is that people need to communicate their problems so that they can be resolved, which is true for everyone. If Dinah's words were about Camila, which we don't know because they could be about anyone, then Camila had 1.5 years to say something. Camila could have said something when she skipped meetings and therapy sessions. Instead, she waited until after she left the group to try to contact them.

12:39-12:19 I think Dinah feels guilty and responsible with what went down with Camila the last few months and the fact that she becomes the bigger person and apologized and says that she still supports that person proves that she's a true, genuine, forgiving, and loving person.
