Its literally just asian things. We are not free to do what we want until we get a degree then its almost free reigns. You gotta atleast try to work on the industry of your degree for like a couple years and maybe you'll get lucky tht they start seeing you becoming more independant and frm there is when they really let you do your own things. But again its based off of my own experience and I dont wanna generalise but so far most of my peers are on the same boat.

It's a common trait in many Asian cultures. My grandpa worked until 93 years old, he never felt comfortable not working. He did pride himself in his work though, so I always admired him. Never saw him complaining about it 😳 and he lived a very fulfilled life too. Always traveling, with friends almost every evening... I feel like our lives are now too full of other unnecessary stuff that we find little time to live lives like that? I can't imagine myself living his life. I'm exhausted after working😩

Well it's all about how you see the world ain't it? If what you're focusing on is that you constantly work and not on the good things in life, you'll be very unhappy with life. I think you're good bro/sis. TH-cam is a very fluctuative platform and it's heavily momentum-based. She may be generating a lot of money right now and recently but that doesn't mean it's going to stay that way forever. TH-cam is VERY unpredictable. And once you dip it's so hard to get up. More and more people have bitterness in their soul thesedays probably caused by any kind of personal financial crisis, bad environment, rejection, betrayal and harrasment both physically and verbally in society. I'm a pre med, because am asian, people often assume I'm doing this for my parents but i really love being in healthcare. but can't blame them cause a lot of my friends actually do that. one of my friend likes to go to film school but his parents want him to do nursing so not even without fighting for it, he gave up and now is a final year nursing student. I've seen many of them like that. particularly me being in pre med have observed most of my friends came without interest, like 6 in 10 people maybe. I'm just lucky i have nice parents but I'm sure they won't approve of it if i wanna be an actor instead of a doctor lol but things been natural for me so I'm saved. but still, my parents are way cooler than the typical ones.

My mom worked three jobs, up to 20 hours a day, growing up. She's one that doesn't like to stay put and do nothing. She's retired and she still works part-time as she could only make so much a year. Some people just like the keep busy.
You're literally one of the fortunate ones that was able to kick off your TH-cam career. Unfortunately, most ppl who dream of doing TH-cam as a career, literally will never be able to acheive it not because they don't have the skill or creativity, but because the TH-cam business is A cutthroat industry. Not to mention that it is oversaturated with ppl doing the exact same thing so when if you have potentially have great content you channel literally cannot grow because ppl are busy watching another food channel.

I know a very good recipe. Add any noodles. Boil it until its soft and ready. Add the powder just like the one that comes with ramen. For the sause: Add 5 teaspoons of chilly sause(Optional) Add 3-4 Teaspoons soyesause and mix until like paste. Final: Drain the extra water from noodles. Add the sause that we prepared. Mix. Not disparaging her in any way I mean it's impressive she does so much but *wow* I personally never understood how people could possibly live like that, I'm currently working 6 days a week including some 16 hour shifts and I unironically want to kill myself in part because of it. I had a coworker with 3 jobs and a kid her life was run like a clock and she was happy about it, I truly can't wrap my head around it, I value my free time more than anything I'd rather live in the forest poor with no one telling me what to do than work all the time tbh

Well it's all about how you see the world ain't it? If what you're focusing on is that you constantly work and not on the good things in life, you'll be very unhappy with life. Maybe your co worker focuses on the end of the day where she'll meet her kid, that's why she is happy. She isn't thinking about the negatives and that she constantly struggles to make a living. But she focuses on the good that is around her

Because that’s how some people are, they want to live life to the fullest, live the most experiences, and not waste time. Some people find happiness in that, others waste their time on social media once they come back from work. (And often live unfulfilling lives)

I work at a two Michelin star restaurant then watch her cook and make videos with these ramen packets. I laugh and then cry because shes probably making more money than me. The part I do love is that she loves the food and shes trying... good for her

I think you're good bro/sis. TH-cam is a very fluctuative platform and it's heavily momentum-based. She may be generating a lot of money right now and recently but that doesn't mean it's going to stay that way forever. TH-cam is VERY unpredictable. And once you dip it's so hard to get up. Working at a restaurant sounds like a much more stable job.

More and more people have bitterness in their soul thesedays probably caused by any kind of personal financial crisis, bad environment, rejection, betrayal and harrasment both physically and verbally in society. Those factors may cause someone to become negative, pessimist, inferior, insecure, distrustful, hateful, doubtful, subjective, brokenhearted, lazy and judgmental.
Crazy how someone can push themselves to finish school for something like that. I love the subject I am studying and still can't pass all of my classes.

that's really how most Asians do it. i said most cause I'm an asian myself and i would never, never do that. I'm a pre med, because am asian, people often assume I'm doing this for my parents but i really love being in healthcare. but can't blame them cause a lot of my friends actually do that. one of my friend likes to go to film school but his parents want him to do nursing so not even without fighting for it, he gave up and now is a final year nursing student. I've seen many of them like that. particularly me being in pre med have observed most of my friends came without interest, like 6 in 10 people maybe. I'm just lucky i have nice parents but I'm sure they won't approve of it if i wanna be an actor instead of a doctor lol but things been natural for me so I'm saved. but still, my parents are way cooler than the typical ones.

My mom worked three jobs, up to 20 hours a day, growing up. She's one that doesn't like to stay put and do nothing. She's retired and she still works part-time as she could only make so much a year. Some people just like the keep busy.

Unfortunately, most ppl who dream of doing TH-cam as a career, literally will never be able to acheive it not because they don't have the skill or creativity, but because the TH-cam business is A cutthroat industry. Not to mention that it is oversaturated with ppl doing the exact same thing so when if you have potentially have great content you channel literally cannot grow because ppl are busy watching another food channel.

I know a very good recipe.
Add any noodles.
Boil it until its soft and ready.
Add the powder just like the one that comes with ramen.
For the sause:
Add 5 teaspoons of chilly sause(Optional)
Add 3-4 Teaspoons soyesause and mix until like paste.
Final:
Drain the extra water from noodles.
Add the sause that we prepared.
Mix.
Add a boiled egg/ Egg yolk.
Ready to be served.
