My weirdest Ghost Story happened in an old graveyard on the side of a mountain 5 miles outside of my home town. There was a Church that had a fenced in graveyard that was well kept up....but in the woods on the other side of the fence were about 20 old sunken graves from the 1800's. I took 4 of my friends to the site one night to try to scare them....We had flashlights and were trying to find the oldest grave. One of my friends looked down and realized she was standing on top of an infant's grave dated 1802. As she started to move there was a loud cracking noise and she sunk three feet into the grave. We pulled her out and at that moment we heard a baby crying as a rush of wind started blowing the weeds around the grave. We ran to my car as the cry got louder and louder....and as I drove away the crying and wind just stopped.
This was a TREAT! Thank you both! My husband and I lived in a "haunted house" for several years where we experienced poltergeist activity quite frequently. We never saw a ghost though. I don't think I could have stayed there if we had. It made true believers out of us. Scott, that was a great experience. However, it's one I never hope to have! I never dismiss another person's paranormal experience because there are things in this world we cannot explain. Robert, you definitely had a paranormal experience at that abandoned location as well. There was a time when if you believed in UFOs and extraterrestrials it was laughed at. How times have changed. Just this week, NASA announced they have put together a team of 16 people from various professions to investigate UAPs /UFOs. Hope springs eternal for ghost hunters everywhere! Happy Halloween Everyone! Stay safe. Stay spooky. 🍂🍁🍁👻🎃🕯🦇🦇🦇🍂🍁🍁
I to lived in a haunted house where I saw a half man who was a solid black feature. We also would hear 2 small children rolling a ball on the upstairs hallway, laughing. Felt creepy in the basement.
@@sharonjose9716 We lived in a house My 3 year old would wake me up She said a monster floating head scared her She called it Head . I heard a baby crying and sometimes a cat . We moved and no probs !
I'm glad you mentioned the video where you could clearly hear a woman sobbing. That one gave me chills! 😳She sounded like her heart was breaking. And what made it even more eerie is, as you said, you could hear her cry just as you were talking about how sad it must be to lose a child. That's just crazy-spooky.
Good one Robert,I went to a friend’s house to buy a bench saw because her dad had passed away and they needed it gone. It was in an old shed behind the house,it was just before dark and I could just see enough to try it out.As I was looking at the saw I got a very creepy feeling like I wasn’t alone. And someone whispered in my ear with a raspy voice, Leave It Alone and I left .
That was a good one! I want to know about Scotts story from his younger days, about the oddly dressed man walking down the road, and went to a grave and stood. Has Scott ever been to look at that grave to see the name? Pretty wild that spirit decided to play elevator, lol. I love ghost stories and ghost sighing videos, but to be honest as a Christian, I know it is the devil doing all of that. Mostly. I do have a ghost story of a deceased lady who was a roommates mother, who as a ghost opened doors for me and did not haunt me like she did the others. I did know that lady when she walked the earth. Very sweet lady.
Excellent stories! Scott's were really scary, good telling too!! Robert, another talent you have, telling a story, you are so good at it!! We need a story telling session at The Old Byrd Farm camping area around a campfire, history tale, scary tale, or otherwise. That is a beautiful area, the forest sounds are loud. Enjoyed!! 😊 ❣️❣️
I used to drive cars for a local institution, I'd gas up the cars, take them for repair, etc. I was driving down 4th Ave in Columbus one day and suddenly a similar feeling came over me, a deep, dark depression like there was no hope, ever, very much like you just described in this video. A few moments later the feeling dissipated and left me wondering what that was about. Then I passed a funeral procession.
I think Ghost Stories and being in the South go hand en hand...They have So much History good en bad, and stories turning into Folklore Ledgends...Especially living near or in a Holler! And thats just 1 of the reasons why I Love and Miss living in the South...
I really like this channel... also, Wow! Im looking at this bridge, without any graffiti on it. . . and I'm thinking "I'll take the haunted bridge over the un-haunted urban ones".
Thank you Scott for sharing that story. Really interesting. I would love to hear more. I was going to say what you heard howling running through the woods was what we call "Hairy man" or Sasquatch here in Canada. Lol Thank you Robert for the great video.
Loved the ghost stories. Robert I've had that happen to me and I was just driving slow in a remote area. Couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching. I sped away but feeling lingered. Scott loved the story of weird way the guy was dressed and then on the grave he disappeared. At 15 or 16 I'd have been terrified. I do believe strange things happen that can't be explained.
There are so many unexplained occurrences in our world. This was a chilling, fascinating video. Thank you. Toward the beginning, I thought I heard a pig snorting, or maybe wood scraping on a rock.
I had a Bigfoot experience in Cobb County back in 1973 or 74! I believe and have caught a lot of grief but there are rumors of them being in the little Grand Canyon. I believe that is close to your location. Might be a good storyline!
Hi Robert love your October videos 🎃 I live in Vermont and just read an article about pig man or boy. According to author Joe Citro there were pig man sightings 50 years ago in Northfield Vermont 🎃 see Green Mountain dark tales by Joe.
Great setting, crazy noises and spooky tales. I think you two should have gone there when it was a little darker, would have been even creepier!! Would be interesting if Scott could find the grave that the weird man disappeared into. I do love hearing the stories and adventures of the ghostly kind 👻👻🧡
My mother told me about ghost stories that happened to her & her family when she was growing up. Like they would be in bed & could hear what sounded like someone stacking dishes & her father Tommy Phillips would say "I wish y'all would stop stacking those blame dishes, so we could get some sleep" & her mother, Florence, would say "Tom you better stop that. You might make them mad". There are other stories & a cousin told me about what happened to her & her husband at a church. But that is later.
Hi Robert and Scott thanks for the creepy stories just in time for me I'm of to a Halloween party I thought I can tell you that the original name for Halloween is a CELTIC name samhain it goes back 2 thousand years the date was on the 1st of November all the best 👍 Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧

I love ghost stories. Thank you. I believe there are Bigfoot running around, and I wondered about them being there the first time I seen you running around the old dirt roads and woods. Also, I don't believe you were out there long enough to see the light. Also, tell Scott that man could have been a pimp at one time or someone who loves everything he's wearing to match.
Alllllrighty then...I don't know my Mom always told me. "Don't look for trouble, you'll almost always find it." Spooky stuff.👻 So I'll relate you a tale, supposedly true from Eastern Ky...there was a certain man they called him H.T., married a young woman and took her to a cabin high on a hill. He was often gone for he had a business that required traveling. While he was "gone on business", his wife being lonely happened to seek out some distant neighbor. There she was told a baby had been born that needed a mother. She being kindhearted accepted the responsibility and took the child home. Sometime in the late evening H.T. returned home to hear the cry of the young child. Upon hearing this child was of uncertain parentage he flew into a rage and wouldn't accept it. He said, "It must be returned!"😲 He hitched up his wagon and horses and loaded wife and child. Before he could go very many paces from the cabin there was a disturbance with the horses. They started to rear in their traces and wouldn't move forward. Looking down at the horse's feet there could be something seen running in and out, something like a mist, but that moved,😨this continued quite a time and gave H. T. such a fright😱 he had to abandon his endeavor. They say H. T. was a changed man after that and raised that baby with much love and attention.🙂💞from Ky.
These stories are really spooky! My god! I was always skeptical I t’il I had a couple of experiences after my mom passed away. I couldn’t explain it. Now I believe! Thx for this. ❤
If you see a green eerie glow, it's the other Robert with his shirt and he's gonna holler at you for loosing him somewhere and grandpa always said not to trust just anyone in the woods.
Maybe the ghost Scott saw was a Hessian soldier. Many were forced to fight in the Revolutionary War & deserted, choosing to stay in America for the better opportunities afforded here. Perhaps the person buried there was a descendant of a Hessian soldier or their remains were comingled with those in the grave some how. And the fact that you heard Taps played every night-even though it wasn't adopted by American military until the Civil War-lends a feeling that there are many with military ties buried there. Just a thought. Thank you for sharing! The creek was a lovely place to experience, especially with the fall beauty & nature sounds.
Robert, I’ve been watching your channel a few months and just came across this video- love it and hope to see more ghost/ paranormal content. I love when you and Dan hear “ things” that say it’s time to go!
I remember a story about a cemetery in the mountains of Georgia . Their was a little ghost girl who would be outside the cemetery and would ask for a quarter . as soon as your back is turned she would disappear .
Hey, I’m not a believer either - but that factually happened 😅 My logical explanation over the shack incident is this - Sound travels very well over flat ground. A lot of that land around that shack had recently been timbered and thus was flat and clear. So the whispering was sound traveling over that land. Coupled with my own paranoia created the feeling of being watched and that I didn’t need to be there. The dark depressive feeling that came over me after - that was weird. But also probably my own mind playing tricks on me, over that incident. Everyone gets depressed now and again and just had a feeling of really being low come over me. It was a feeling as there was no hope in the world. It passed after around 30 miles 😅
@@AdventuresIntoHistory Robert as much as you've said you didn't want to go back to that old house, take someone with you, see if that feeling comes back, or the other person feels it. Maybe "something" there really does need help. Just a thought. Love all your videos Robert.
@@decembergem4598 if there’s something paranormal there, then I definitely am not the one who needs to help it. Unfortunately the house has completely collapsed now and is just a pile of wood and tin.
@@AdventuresIntoHistory No for sure Robert, If it is paranormal I wouldn't be either. This is a story from my mom's younger days. She would be in her late nineties if she were alive today. She came from a extremely large family that immigrated from Oklahoma to Canada. They had a small house on an old large homestead. With a creek running through it. She said just down the road a bit was a dilapidated old house that had been abandoned for many years. Her and her younger siblings loved to explore, like all rural kids do, and they always heard whispers of voices around that old house. Her older brothers would try to scare the younger ones by sneaking up on them while they were hanging out around the old place. She said that her and her siblings always thought the voices and whispers they heard were their older brothers. Well this story has a sad end. During a particularly harsh winter her father, had a couple of cows missing and followed their tracks down the road to the old house and found a 4 year old little girl and her 8 year old brother frozen to death in that old dilapidated house. Apparently their mother had died and the kids father left them there for some reason and never returned. When I see old houses like the one you took the picture of, it always reminds me of that story my mom told me. My mom always said she had a very dark sad feeling when they were around that old place, and often wished she would have inquired more into it. Sorry for the long story. Take care Robert looking forward to seeing more of your videos. ❤️🇨🇦
Ghost stories are fun. As long as they don't get me. lol!! 😁 👻👻👻 My grandmother ( my dad's mother) is from Americus Ga. I only have been to Americus a couple of times when I was a little girl. My dad passed away when I was only 10 years old, so after he passed away I didn't get to see his family as much anymore. I don't know that much about my grandmother's family. I know right before my dad's youngest sister passed away she looked at the end of her bed and said, well, there's mama and Larry (that's my dad's name). Then she said, but I don't know who those other people are? Later that night she passed away. She was only 51 years old. When you shared that picture it made me think about that story. My grandmother lived in Lithonia when I was growing up. She always lived in an old house out in the country. It was off a dirt road. Of course, it's changed a lot since then. I miss those days. 😊 Thanks for sharing your video. 👍👍👍👍
Quite awhile back I was watching one of your videos on a bridge. I'm sorry I remember nothing about the bridge. Toward the end you are standing on the with a long view of the wide creek over your left shoulder. As you are making closing comments I was looking at the scenery and watched something cross the creek. When it got halfway across it looked like many other sightings of bigfoot. Altogether I say it took maybe a dozen steps.
Don't know if y'all will read this in time for Halloween this year. But if you're at a place where a spirit is said to travel along a path or a road, light a candle. They're lost and looking for light. But bear in mind sometimes the spirits aren't friendly so it's generally a good idea to visit a church before going home. You don't want anybody or anything following you home lest it get stuck in your house.
Mr. Scott's description of the ghost in purple somehow made me think of the classical Robin Hood as a jester. Elf boots, bell-bottoms (sort of), and a coat with flared sleeves... Whoever was buried there must've been a clown or a performer of sorts. This is just my speculation.
My only "ghost" experience is like you said about hearing whispers where I was by myself, I worked at an old hotel and it was empty late at night, and I kept looking for whoever was talking and there was no one there. When I would walk toward the sound, it would move somewhere else.
I loved hearing the crickets from the woods. It brings back so many good memories that I had living in Alabama. As a kid you’d would always find me hanging out in the woods. Unfortunately I never saw any ghost. I liked Mr. Scott’s stories. That first one he told was a little spooky. I liked the one you told about the women crying. Now that’s eerie n a big wonder if you really did hear it. Whatever, this was fun n for me I just loved hearing nature in the woods. Happy Halloween Robert n Baloo🎃🎃 ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🥰🎃
Truly enjoyed this one Robert 👍. I thought Scott was going to say he saw Elvis. Both stories were great but Robert yours gave me goosebumps. You definitely experienced something paranormal. Happy Halloween 🎃
That’s what everyone tells me. I love the “paranormal” and ghost stories,Sasquatch stories, etc. You can say… “I want to believe” but I won’t until the day I can’t come up with a rational explanation
Hubby & I would hear tree knocks while on a bridge overlooking a pond on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail near Gilbertville IA. We call it "sasquatch bridge"😅😅
Watching the dead return to their graves is no big deal. What's scary, and this happened every year until the cemetery was relocated, is to see the dead elevate from their graves. Sometimes they raised from head to toe, other times they just levitated horizontally from the ground and floated about in the cemetery. It was so scary that we all swore off smoking the funny weed.
Scott, I have my own experience that is similar to yours. You are absolutely correct about the difference between telling and being there. Robert, you don't have to believe in "ghosts" as paranormal groups want. If you accept what many beliefs and religions around the world believe, there is "life after death," then perhaps there is a possibility of something outside the norm. BTW -- Great piece.
Hello Robert and Scott I enjoy this video great stories I hope you both can share some more stories like this in upcoming videos thank you both for sharing love from upstate New York

If there's a God, there's spirits. And I do believe in god I seen his miracles
Going to have to be there past midnight. And you might actually see him.
Supposed to be before dark at sunset. Which means it was probably just reflection off the creek that started the legend 😅
Should’ve had the other Robert come down the creek with the lantern in the dark as a closing
Love your "ghost" videos!!❤️ For you not believe, you sure seem jumpy!!🤣
Just curious ?? Did you cover the legend of the Werewolf of Talbot County ?
Thanks for all you do.
Yup
Great video enjoyed it so much
I love Ghost Stories
Looks cold out there! Justice for Miguel!!!! ❤
Great to see some interesting different stories on your channel!
Those noises are so eerie!
That was good. Scott and yourself need to go to Alabama. Please go at 10:00 pm.
Mr. Scott's description of the ghost in purple somehow made me think of the classical Robin Hood as a jester. Elf boots, bell-bottoms (sort of), and a coat with flared sleeves... Whoever was buried there must've been a clown or a performer of sorts. This is just my speculation.
IM CURIOUS as to what his death date was.
Happy Halloween Robert n Baloo🎃🎃
♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🥰🎃
Great Video! I Love the stories!
Robert, you forgot to mention when some rather odd things have happened in the house at the old Bryd Farm.👻
Nothing really happened there 😅 Something alive ran through the house one time and that’s about it
Great stories! Thank you both for sharing them.
Wow that was creepy 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
I believe and aware of spirit.
Love this video
2:24 probably a squirrel 🐿 or deer 🦌. The forests are filled with critters so the rocks startle them.
Chickens.....Haha....you didn't stay until Dark. (I wouldn't have either) ~ Fun legends, Thanks.
Good one!
Im Scot Irish. We do like a good ghost story in my native land. We brought alot of our superstitions to the southern states.
Happy Halloween 🎃
6:19 sounds like you seen the ghost of Prince!
😅
LOL, 💜🎸
I second that emotion 💯✌🏻
Hello Robert and Scott I enjoy this video great stories I hope you both can share some more stories like this in upcoming videos thank you both for sharing love from upstate New York
You all have visit that cemetery in Alabama at night.
great stories! that sound at the beginning was creepy. My house is haunted and it's not even an old house.
Robert, can you post those videos you were talking about on here? I want to hear too.
This was also nice!
Loved this! Love to hear more!
So cool! Will you go visit that grave ?
Next time, right at the end, you'll have to get in your car, and as you drive away, flashback down the creek, and have a dim light move a little.
