Fight camps are super important they are used to help fighters get their timing, speed, strength, and conditioning on point to fight at peek level. So 10 day fight camp for nate is worse then full fight camp nate.

I lowkey understand TJ training with Dwayne because of Cruz’s striking arsenal for that camp. It was never going to the ground that fight and TJ had his best interest at heart and even though it’s selfish it’s the bigger picture and made the most sense. That being said loyalty is the most respected of qualities amongst men and TJ broke that code.

It's not that he didn't listen. He can't see it. Because the guy is his good friend, and it is hard for you to believe your best friend will stab you in the back. I know this because I got back stabbed when I was in university by a close friend, and afterwards when I analyzed back what have been going on before she backstab me I realized how obvious it was but I was blinded by my trust in her. A few of my friends who was observant warned me about it but I couldn't see it.

MMA isn't a team sport though. If he can get better coaching somewhere else is it not wrong to say you can't train with us if you train with them! Not only is that childish but it is selfish. I understand the aspect of a team but when it comes down to it its only you on the field and its your ass that gets shit on if you aren't your most.
@theman1234 Because part of being a mixed martial artist means learning multiple disciplines and having a variety of weaponry in your arsenal. How is anyone supposed to be a well-rounded fighter if they're bogged down to just one camp? As a mixed martial artist, and as someone who is striving to be the best, a professional fighter SHOULD want to broaden his horizons and apply any newfound information he has learned in all future endeavors. In other words, knowledge is power in this sport, and being limited to a single camp severely hinders that idea.
At the end of the day, it's all about the fighter and molding him/her to be the best he/she can be, not questioning a person's loyalty and condemning them for wanting to improve him- or herself.

in his gym and holding up another teams banner, TJ would be looking for
advantages over other Bantamweight fighters that are representing Team
Alpha Male, so Urijiah really had no choice then to tell him he cant
train in the gym.
I NEVER for once doubted where TJ was comming from and always annoyed me when everyone(conor's casual fanboys)called him a "snake". Guys switch gyms ALL THE TIME. What Uriah said at the end using the marriage analogy pretty much proves TJ's point as to him giving TJ an ultimatum. Let the man train where he wants to train. Glad more and more people are starting to see TJ was right and TAM are being a bit ridiculous here.

Uriah Faber has changed his story on TJ like 30 times, while TJ's story remains consistent. Uriah said TJ ditched him originally, on record, and then when TJ responds Uriah changed his tune to 'bruh, why you startin shit, i never said anything'.
To understand Faber and Tj, you must also look into Faber and Cruz... the beef wasn't just Cruz being a cocky prick, it was actually started because Cruz and Faber had hung out at one point when Cruz basically had no sponsors. Faber then asked Cruz about his sponsors, found out Cruz was hurting for sponsors and 'offered' to help him out. What ended up happening was Faber went around to everyone telling them that Cruz can't get sponsored and was begging him for help.
That's what Faber is actually like. He's a Californian valley girl.

Enjoythis. Fuck that. Duane was the bro TJ was closest with and Duane left for Colorado after his problems with Faber. TJ made it pretty clear he wanted to go to both Gyms. The problem here is Urijah DID kick him out of the gym and told TJ he had to choose. Urijah forgets he told everyone "if TJ is part of that team, he will by spying on us when he is here sparring, so that's a nono, its us or them". Its cemented in stone on podcasts and Faber can never erase the fact that he told TJ "us or them". TJ is telling it like it is.

Well many things are leading to Cody acting this way. Cody doesn't have a very high verbal IQ. He also has a lot of anxiety and is pretty thin skinned. He gets emotionally invested in confrontations and is unable to act rational and heads straight to talking shit and dealing with the anxiety by hitting others. His communication skills are lacking severely; he doesn't reveal much of what he really thinks, he simply mimics what everyone else says. These show a serious imbalance in his cognitive development. He could benefit from cognitive behavioral therapy which focuses on how a person can be more mindful of their thinking patterns and adjusting problematic patterns that cause them to react negatively to the world around them. Resorting to his fists is a good tactic for a fighter, but only when it's necessary to fight, which is minimal amount of the time. I know a few guys like that and they just fly off the handle and aren't good at these kinds of interactions with other dudes. Best to interact with them 1on 1, especially when it is a sensitive subject they may take offense to.
