I have swapped out the Emperor’s Guard knees for a second Belstone whilst changing Survivalist to Gunner. The loss of 1% armor regen has been replaced with 20% armor on kill which feels better to me! (Belstone knees are easier to farm than the DZ exclusive Murakami)
Tried the build out but had to use Sokolov Chest w/Obliterate CHC: 60% CHD: 73.5% HAZ PRO: 70% BLEED RES: 89% if I had another bleed mod it would go above 92% and agree Obliterate worked more reliable compared to Intimidate. Works pretty well with HAZ PRO at 70% and is a fun build once you get the stacks up using the shield and Banshee pulse in a groiup. Don't know if this build will replace my go to Capacitor/Memento hybrid skill tier 5 with 60% protection from elites.
For those who want DZ exclusive named items but don't want to go in the DZ you can activate the global event under the seasons tab in your menu. Once you've collected 8 stars you can redeem them for a named cache at the season vendor. One vendor is just to The right of White House entrance and another is in Haven, NY. Happy hunting!
I think you can only get DZ items you have previously obtained before, it's nice to get better rolls but I have never had a season cache with an item I didn't get before (over 4000 SHD)
really appreciate oyu mentioning which stats to focus on anmd which ones not to worry if our gear doesn't match yours exactly, often hard to copy youtuber builds not knowing which stats are okay to prioritise and whatnot

MY BEST PVE BUILD IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE - I'M A DOUCHE" All Patrick Donkey jokes aside - I put it together, EXACTLY how you had it in the video yesterday. Honestly - TOP TEIR! Absolutley shreds SOLO, but also TOTALLY viable in a group as well. Have to be a bit more careful as they do hit a tone harder, and the shield doesn't hold up as long. But ran with my clan in a 4 man group, all of us SHD 2500+ and I had the most damage and kills at the end of the mission. One thing to tell people to look at is the "Real crit" and "real crit dmg" percentages at the end. I ended up with real crit 50% and real crit dmg 74% WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY MONSTER! Would love to see more builds like this. Something next maybe incorporating skill and weapon damage with capacitor? Great stuff as always Fox.
I remember the original build that this build is based on. I did a variant of that one with a created glove gear piece so that I could get the haz pro I needed until I got a Yaahl piece. Even with it not being maxed out, I still shredded with it! I can't wait to get home and tweak that build with this one! Thanks!
Hi Fox, great build as always, want to share with you my my testing, I have a build with Memento, 2 pieces of sokolov, 2 pieces of Belstone and Hollow man mask, 5 blue 1 yellow and 2 red. 1.6M armor total which is very good for armor regen (4%). The difference from yours is I pretty much have no hazard protection but 20 % from hollow man mask and 10% from watch (30% total). The key to this is CHC and CHD both has to be pretty high to kill to get memento buff. What I found very useful is to use booster hive in the beginning before full stacks of memento collected and once full stacks collected, switch the booster hive to Defender drone. It woks wonders, pretty much every map just run through enemies like a tank from there. thanks
FYI My CHD is around 170 to start, but I have 5 blue so weapon damages is lower then yours, in my opinion it’s is a choice the amount of armor how each player needs to play it comfortably, I think it is a plus to have more armor for armor regen build, that’s why I don’t stack hazardpro instead stack more CHD. It works either way is what I am trying to say here. The only thing for sure won’t work is if the build has high weapon damage but not using memento and not enough armor. It’s is tricky to use backfire but it is awesome if you do it right ! Memento and high armor is a must to me.
Just made another build similar for my other character and I thought I will share cause it’s a lot easier to farm this build. two pieces of bel stone, two pieces of golan preferably cheat piece with perfect intimidate, memento and ONE piece of Groupo. If any hazard great if no, not a big deal, just stack up CHC and CHD. It will come with 5 blue 2 red and 1 yellow naturally so farming these gears should be easier.
Just picked up Backfire last night and came straight to this video after having seen the dark winter build by you. Looks like it’s going to take a lot of farming for a fairly new person to get it to stop that annoying screen effect. .. i wish they made the effect more subtle. Any shortcuts or quick build get up and running faster Haha ?? Thanks again for another inspiring video.
Unfortunately this is more of an endgame build, so it is a nightmare to farm for from scratch. You can run a Booster Hive in the meantime, as it cleanses all status effects with each drone (every 5 seconds). Once you complete the build you will love it though, I use it constantly.
Aw snap, it has Backfire. As much I like the SMG's talent, it's just that the Bleed scares me. Oh and the Backfire actually debuted in the same season when the Memento showed up, Season 3: Concealed Agenda. If I were to try this out, I think the only missing piece for me is the Yaahl (which is going to be very tricky outside of vendors) and I could go Technician for an extra skill tier to reach a Tier 6 Shield. EDIT: I guess a second Ceska piece is what I'll be looking for as well. EDIT#2: I enjoy testing my builds at Lincoln Memorial, the enemy density especially in the first two areas and in the indoor parts especially the boss arena is just perfect.
I made the similar build back when Backfire came out mostly for PvP attempts. Been trying to get best balance of red blue cores... Tried 5b1r with unbreakable, survivability is fun. Am also trying to balance the hazard protection, haven't decided if I really want bleed immunity at 95 vs. 85-90 and more crit dmg.
That’s exactly the battle I had, opted for survivabiity in the end with the bleed resistance. Which is why I like the sound to your Unbreakable version, good stuff.

Hi Fox, I’ve been using a similar build to this in DZ for a long time now but with more blues. 1.9 mil armour and intimidate. Doesn’t do much damage at first but after you’ve cleared a couple of landmarks before you get jumped by rogues it hits really hard, just a slow starter.

Got this build about 98% hazpro/bleed with different brand set and no emperors guard since backfire is released.. Its a fantastic build, got almot 1 mil per crit in my build..
Best part of this build is you don’t even need that damage against the non elites. When it comes to boss fights you’ll easily hit the 200 stacks which is where it is important anyway. Win win!
Would you just farm near godroll gear until going for the optimization table? Was trying to optimize suboptimal gear before, but seems to take ages as i run out of mats constantly. I think id be faster just farming gear in the summit than wasting time at the optimization table. Any tipps on that matter? Thanks!
I would yes, it’s too expensive currently to do it on low rolled gear! I just hit Legendary content and the DZ for the best source of near god roll loot
Ha, again, I am running a very similar build, 1.5m armor with unbreakable, 80% protection from elites, momento, except I use the scorpio instead of the smg... I find the scorpio allows me to stun lock my enemies which is even more helpful with dealing with veterans and normal enemies which pose more of a threat than elites. I took this build into the summit floor 100 and was able to solo it. At this point I use it to carry newbies at heroic +. Had two newbies with me last night and we got a team of rogues. The newbies died early and I ended up soloing the 4 rogues myself.
I’m actually working on a Legendary version as we speak with 6 blues. It’s working well so far but I definitely need to make some tweaks before I’m happy to show it. I’m not a huge fan of the Backfire vs agents, Lady Death is typically better and it’s hard to build up backpack trophies too.
Love this build. Have something similar but will try to create later. A coupe things I’ve noticed is the yahl gear is being sold at the vendors now and I actually got the orbit named pistol from a named item cache. I also had the murikami emperors gaurd knee pads drop for me outside of the dark zone. I’m wondering if “dark zone exclusive” isn’t a thing anymore?
What Armour Regen numbers do you get with the full 30 Memento stacks? The image is low rez for me, so I can't see what the base armour on kill is. What is it please? Also, your WD looks like 97.7k, not 94.7k as you said. It's really hard to see the numbers on the stat screen as there's some heavy compression going on.

Really nice.will give it a look. I have a similar build with 5.11 but crit chance only about 37%. 78% hazard and 100% bleed with 3 bleed mods.. 1.6 armour 95 backfire weapon damage....(aka OldPrivateRyan) 👍😁
If you have the Perfect Bloodsucker Belstone backpack with Hazpro on it, that could work! You’d be losing out on so much though, I wouldn’t want to try this without Memento. Get backpack farming buddy, you’ll get it soon enough!
I had all the pieces that were necessary and it is a nice build and when all the stacks are on its fun as hell but it is for me not better then my scorpio crit build with 2 hunter, belstone, groupo. Badger, memento and intimidate. It is simply insane for pve solo. 5 blues and 2 reds with the striker shield and imtimidate it's for me the best.
I have copied your build pretty much the same except for the emperors pads, I have gone for a second Bellstone. But what I’m not understanding is, like yours 5 pieces have all got 10% hazard = 50% the 2 ceska and yaahl makes an extra 20%. So my hazpro is only 71.5% and I cannot get it any higher, how did you get it to 80%? Plz explain thanks
It does, and since I’ve swapped out the Emperors Guard for a second Belstone and change to Gunner, the armor on kill means you just keep on mowing through NPCs
Hey Fox. Please look at this criticism as to be constructive. You are an invaluable resource for Div2, and even though your channel is smaller, when it comes to build videos and guides, I see your channel being as important and well made as Marco Style's channel back in the days of Div1. This time though, I have to strongly disagree with you on the quality of this build. IMHO at the current state of the game HazPro is not worth it in PVE and the Backfire is still a bad weapon. Backfire has mag-size as third attribute and a stability mod. The weapon Talent takes forever to build up and is easily lost. I am running an armour regen build similar to yours, so let me break that down and also let's assume, all rolls are maxed out like yours. With 2 pieces Sokolov instead of 1 piece of each Ceska and Yaahl, each piece rolled to CHC and CHD where possible (not counting backpack and just CHD on the knees), 3 CHD mods, the named Dark Winter with 3 5% CHD mods and DMG to targets out of cover instead of mag size I have a whopping 10% Weapon Damage, 10% to targets out of cover 92% CHD flat and another 50% CHD when the weapon talent procs. I gonna loose 70% HazPro (10% stay because of the watch) and the BleedR mods. Putting this together, IMHO the Backfire is not worth it.
Thank you for your feedback! I still use the Dark Winter, it’s a great SMG. This build still ends up outputting more damage once the stacks are built up though, even if it does take a little time. You can see in the gameplay that I have no difficulty killing enemies.
@@IamFox Well, I saw your footage and I agree, you where mowing everybody down. Lincoln is one of the easiest heroic missions available, but I understand, where you are coming from. I do not have a HazPro build available to compare both builds, but IMHO the Backfires overall average DPS output should be lower. I might be wrong here, but with the additional weapon damage and damage to targets out of cover and a very high CHD damage already on board without having to proc anything, I would throw my hat in the ring for the Dark Winter. Anyway, I am not saying your build is not really good - it sure is, you have proven that. I am just objecting, that that is your greatest solo build as of yet. All the Hazpro pieces are a pain to farm for and you can get similar results with a Armour Reg. Dark winter Build similar to yours. Still though, thanks for replying and keep the good stuff coming, I hold your content in very high regard.
I do share your love for the Dark Winter, it is amazing! I still use it on my HF loadout because it’s best in slot. The Backfire simply makes up for what could below DPS on a build that replaces CHD for Hazpro. Which is surprisingly useful as you do become a bit of a walking tank that is seldom affected by any status while hitting 270+ CHD. @@IamFox I've found out if you reach MAX Stacks on the weapon and you reload... it stops bleeding you .... Unsure if it's intentional or if it was bugged last I used it ...

I do only briefly touch on this video, but essentially you need to be at 92% bleed resistance to be totally immune to Backfires self bleed. My build has 80% haz pro from all the pieces, so I needed an additional 12% to make me bleed immune. That’s what the mods are for. Haz pro = all status effects
@@IamFox Good to know being I made a build for the backfire sometime ago, didn't realized I needed less bleed resistance when having enough hazard protection. The build did hit hard though 😊
No clue why your brands look so washed out, your details in the video seem to have a lot of artifacts. Could be how you export the videos after editing them, or maybe due to how you capture (if you are on console)... it unfortunately really hurts your videos because they are otherwise pretty well made and thoughtful. I believe there is a Yaahl gear piece being sold at the base vendor this week. It's not a glove, but I figure you can still use it for the build once you recal one of the attributes.
That was actually my first choice, however I found it too inconsistent. I ended up doing more damage on Obliterate in the end, as it’s pretty much always up
1 unfortunately Summit sux. the rooms looks the same, ish, which dulls my brain completely. wish it wasnt so. Id spend a lot more time in Summmit if the rooms looked more different. they made NY look alive. the Classified missions look great. they just need to put more effort into Summit. 2 looking forward to you Legendary build. hope its not a Skill build.
@@IamFox Skill builds are great. love mine but it gets boring to do Legendary Strongholds. same-o same-o. so we did DUA with DPS. took longer but it felt good.
Stacking so many defensives just to run that gun.... i hit 200k more with Chameleon and have 1.4 mil armor. Just use decent positioning and you dont need any hazard protection. I wouldn‘t run this.
The chameleon loses its buffs to frequently to be directly compared to this. Also the Hazpro helps stay alive as it’s always the Grenades or riot foamers that will kill you. Don’t knock it until you try it, I originally tested the Chameleon and it isn’t as reliable
@@IamFox 25 shots for 20cc and 50cd and 70 shots for 75wd lasting 45seconds is not reliable...but Backfire that requires 100% bleed resistance and 200 bullets to reach 200cd lasting 10seconds is reliable? Hilarious.
You’ve missed the point of the build, it’s meant to incorporate 4 things: Hazpro, high armor, high armor regen AND high weapon damage. Chameleon doesn’t get its buffs UNTIL you land those shots. Backfire gets it immediately. So at 40 stacks, it’s already at 40% CHD. And ends up at 200% in basically every room. You aren’t factoring in the downtime on Chameleon, which Backfire doesn’t have. I wanted a Hazpro solo build so backfire was the best choice. I tried Chameleon initially (your build is good), but it simply doesn’t come close when you factor in its downtime
@@IamFox The 40 stacks requires you 40 hits to get 40 cd , you get 10cd more and extra 20cc after only 25headshots with Chameleon wich has almost no recoil. With Backfire you do get the stacks instantly but they last only 10 seconds - so you're starting from scratch in room 2. And lets be honest , would you really be stacking so much hazpro and bleedres if it wasnt for that gun ? Because with any other weapon you'd be getting 36%cd just by removing the bleed mods + lets say you leave 3x secondaries of hazpro on and you'd get antoher 24%cd...thats 60% without needing to stack anything, plus you can run 1x belstone armory piece and get 1% armor regen wich is equal to 3x max stated regen secondaries. That's how i see it.

@@IamFox EXACTLY.....I just recently started placing the Division 2 (never played it before) and I love it. I'm just not very high in rankings or exotic pieces. My primary is a Hunters Fury gear set but I run my True Patriot from time to time too. I just can't seem to make True Patriot hit like Hunter's Fury. Doubt I ever will at this point. Just seems like TP wasn't made to compliment DPS the same way HF does. But if you could somehow concoct a TP build that can hit substantially WITHOUT AN EXOTIC PIECE, that would be the answer to my prayers lol.

Sounds like a great variant, I like it! As you can see from the gameplay I don’t have difficulty with getting kills as the CHD ends up so high!

Once you hit that bleed immunity it’s very powerful. It can be a pain to farm for however. You’ll enjoy it once you get the pieces however!

Been running this build(almost the same) since the release of the backfire. At max buff(memento and Crit Damage), I am hitting over 900k per bullet!

I made the similar build back when Backfire came out mostly for PvP attempts. Been trying to get best balance of red blue cores... Tried 5b1r with unbreakable, survivability is fun. Am also trying to balance the hazard protection, haven't decided if I really want bleed immunity at 95 vs. 85-90 and more crit dmg.
That’s exactly the battle I had, opted for survivabiity in the end with the bleed resistance. Which is why I like the sound to your Unbreakable version, good stuff.

Hi Fox, I’ve been using a similar build to this in DZ for a long time now but with more blues. 1.9 mil armour and intimidate. Doesn’t do much damage at first but after you’ve cleared a couple of landmarks before you get jumped by rogues it hits really hard, just a slow starter.
That’s the only reason why I don’t like Memento in the DZ, although it doesn’t take long to build up some stacks
I loved the Backfire since it dropped. My version utilizes the Hollow Man mask. Heath damage boost!!!
That’s smart! It’s a shame so few people have a good roll of that mask
RNG was on my side. Max armour, rolled max haz-pro. 20% from 1 pc. It's possibly my favourite masks.

Got this build about 98% hazpro/bleed with different brand set and no emperors guard since backfire is released.. Its a fantastic build, got almot 1 mil per crit in my build..

Best part of this build is you don’t even need that damage against the non elites. When it comes to boss fights you’ll easily hit the 200 stacks which is where it is important anyway. Win win!

Would you just farm near godroll gear until going for the optimization table? Was trying to optimize suboptimal gear before, but seems to take ages as i run out of mats constantly. I think id be faster just farming gear in the summit than wasting time at the optimization table. Any tipps on that matter? Thanks!
I would yes, it’s too expensive currently to do it on low rolled gear! I just hit Legendary content and the DZ for the best source of near god roll loot
Ha, again, I am running a very similar build, 1.5m armor with unbreakable, 80% protection from elites, momento, except I use the scorpio instead of the smg... I find the scorpio allows me to stun lock my enemies which is even more helpful with dealing with veterans and normal enemies which pose more of a threat than elites.
I took this build into the summit floor 100 and was able to solo it. At this point I use it to carry newbies at heroic +. Had two newbies with me last night and we got a team of rogues. The newbies died early and I ended up soloing the 4 rogues myself.

Great build! How is it on legendary and would you run this in the DZ? If so, would you tweak anything or keep as is?
I’m actually working on a Legendary version as we speak with 6 blues. It’s working well so far but I definitely need to make some tweaks before I’m happy to show it. I’m not a huge fan of the Backfire vs agents, Lady Death is typically better and it’s hard to build up backpack trophies too.
Love this build. Have something similar but will try to create later. A coupe things I’ve noticed is the yahl gear is being sold at the vendors now and I actually got the orbit named pistol from a named item cache. I also had the murikami emperors gaurd knee pads drop for me outside of the dark zone. I’m wondering if “dark zone exclusive” isn’t a thing anymore?
DZ exclusives can be sold by the DZ vendors, drop from PvP caches and season pass caches. So not that exclusive 😂

What Armour Regen numbers do you get with the full 30 Memento stacks? The image is low rez for me, so I can't see what the base armour on kill is. What is it please? Also, your WD looks like 97.7k, not 94.7k as you said. It's really hard to see the numbers on the stat screen as there's some heavy compression going on.
Have you selected 1080p? I could see it clearly on an iPhone screen at that resolution. I end up on just over 73k with the original 5% regen version

Really nice.will give it a look. I have a similar build with 5.11 but crit chance only about 37%. 78% hazard and 100% bleed with 3 bleed mods.. 1.6 armour 95 backfire weapon damage....(aka OldPrivateRyan) 👍😁
You’ll need to get your CHC higher as Backfire only buffs CHD! 5.11 is a nice choice however!

If you have the Perfect Bloodsucker Belstone backpack with Hazpro on it, that could work! You’d be losing out on so much though, I wouldn’t want to try this without Memento. Get backpack farming buddy, you’ll get it soon enough!

I had all the pieces that were necessary and it is a nice build and when all the stacks are on its fun as hell but it is for me not better then my scorpio crit build with 2 hunter, belstone, groupo. Badger, memento and intimidate. It is simply insane for pve solo. 5 blues and 2 reds with the striker shield and imtimidate it's for me the best.
This is for PvE but your build does sound great!

I have copied your build pretty much the same except for the emperors pads, I have gone for a second Bellstone. But what I’m not understanding is, like yours 5 pieces have all got 10% hazard = 50% the 2 ceska and yaahl makes an extra 20%. So my hazpro is only 71.5% and I cannot get it any higher, how did you get it to 80%? Plz explain thanks
I think I know why, my watch is only level 375 could this be why maybe?
Watch, double Ceska and Yaahl are all 10%. 5 gear pieces all have 10% rolled too. 80% total. Your stat is still fine for the build though

It does, and since I’ve swapped out the Emperors Guard for a second Belstone and change to Gunner, the armor on kill means you just keep on mowing through NPCs
I had a similar build, with similar rolls. I had only 2 blues ( i dont have the emperors guard). But I gotta dust off the backfire.

Hey Fox. Please look at this criticism as to be constructive. You are an invaluable resource for Div2, and even though your channel is smaller, when it comes to build videos and guides, I see your channel being as important and well made as Marco Style's channel back in the days of Div1. This time though, I have to strongly disagree with you on the quality of this build. IMHO at the current state of the game HazPro is not worth it in PVE and the Backfire is still a bad weapon. Backfire has mag-size as third attribute and a stability mod. The weapon Talent takes forever to build up and is easily lost. I am running an armour regen build similar to yours, so let me break that down and also let's assume, all rolls are maxed out like yours. With 2 pieces Sokolov instead of 1 piece of each Ceska and Yaahl, each piece rolled to CHC and CHD where possible (not counting backpack and just CHD on the knees), 3 CHD mods, the named Dark Winter with 3 5% CHD mods and DMG to targets out of cover instead of mag size I have a whopping 10% Weapon Damage, 10% to targets out of cover 92% CHD flat and another 50% CHD when the weapon talent procs. I gonna loose 70% HazPro (10% stay because of the watch) and the BleedR mods. Putting this together, IMHO the Backfire is not worth it.
Thank you for your feedback! I still use the Dark Winter, it’s a great SMG. This build still ends up outputting more damage once the stacks are built up though, even if it does take a little time. You can see in the gameplay that I have no difficulty killing enemies.
@@IamFox Well, I saw your footage and I agree, you where mowing everybody down. Lincoln is one of the easiest heroic missions available, but I understand, where you are coming from. I do not have a HazPro build available to compare both builds, but IMHO the Backfires overall average DPS output should be lower. I might be wrong here, but with the additional weapon damage and damage to targets out of cover and a very high CHD damage already on board without having to proc anything, I would throw my hat in the ring for the Dark Winter. Anyway, I am not saying your build is not really good - it sure is, you have proven that. I am just objecting, that that is your greatest solo build as of yet. All the Hazpro pieces are a pain to farm for and you can get similar results with a Armour Reg. Dark winter Build similar to yours. Still though, thanks for replying and keep the good stuff coming, I hold your content in very high regard.
I do share your love for the Dark Winter, it is amazing! I still use it on my HF loadout because it’s best in slot. The Backfire simply makes up for what could below DPS on a build that replaces CHD for Hazpro. Which is surprisingly useful as you do become a bit of a walking tank that is seldom affected by any status while hitting 270+ CHD. @@IamFox I've found out if you reach MAX Stacks on the weapon and you reload... it stops bleeding you .... Unsure if it's intentional or if it was bugged last I used it ...

A second haz pro belstone and possibly a Gila. You can put the Yaahl anywhere so if that’s the rarest item for you I’d work around that

Why do u go for hazard protection AND bleed resistance? I don't get it.
I do only briefly touch on this video, but essentially you need to be at 92% bleed resistance to be totally immune to Backfires self bleed. My build has 80% haz pro from all the pieces, so I needed an additional 12% to make me bleed immune. That’s what the mods are for. Haz pro = all status effects
@@IamFox Good to know being I made a build for the backfire sometime ago, didn't realized I needed less bleed resistance when having enough hazard protection. The build did hit hard though 😊
How do you know if your backpack trophies are full?
You have the symbol in your buff bar! Fills up a little each time you pick up a trophy
92% makes you fully bleed immune? How does that work?
Not sure, it’s different for other status effects as well. For example Ensnare is only 85% haz pro to be immune in Conflict. It’s odd
No clue why your brands look so washed out, your details in the video seem to have a lot of artifacts. Could be how you export the videos after editing them, or maybe due to how you capture (if you are on console)... it unfortunately really hurts your videos because they are otherwise pretty well made and thoughtful. Nice work. I came back to comment this since I remember watching this video when it dropped and I thought youtube was just processing the video still.

Anything that you can easily get CHC and Hazpro whilst keeping it rolled to armour. Gila, or if you get the correct minor attributes, Sokolov/Walker.
I believe there is a Yaahl gear piece being sold at the base vendor this week. It's not a glove, but I figure you can still use it for the build once you recal one of the attributes.

You should've used Intimidate instead of Obliterate.
That was actually my first choice, however I found it too inconsistent. I ended up doing more damage on Obliterate in the end, as it’s pretty much always up

1 unfortunately Summit sux. the rooms looks the same, ish, which dulls my brain completely. wish it wasnt so. Id spend a lot more time in Summmit if the rooms looked more different. they made NY look alive. the Classified missions look great. they just need to put more effort into Summit.

Stacking so many defensives just to run that gun.... i hit 200k more with Chameleon and have 1.4 mil armor.
Just use decent positioning and you dont need any hazard protection.

The chameleon loses its buffs to frequently to be directly compared to this. Also the Hazpro helps stay alive as it’s always the Grenades or riot foamers that will kill you. Don’t knock it until you try it, I originally tested the Chameleon and it isn’t as reliable
@@IamFox 25 shots for 20cc and 50cd and 70 shots for 75wd lasting 45seconds is not reliable...but Backfire that requires 100% bleed resistance and 200 bullets to reach 200cd lasting 10seconds is reliable? Hilarious.
You’ve missed the point of the build, it’s meant to incorporate 4 things: Hazpro, high armor, high armor regen AND high weapon damage. Chameleon doesn’t get its buffs UNTIL you land those shots. Backfire gets it immediately. So at 40 stacks, it’s already at 40% CHD. And ends up at 200% in basically every room. You aren’t factoring in the downtime on Chameleon, which Backfire doesn’t have. I wanted a Hazpro solo build so backfire was the best choice. I tried Chameleon initially (your build is good), but it simply doesn’t come close when you factor in its downtime
@@IamFox The 40 stacks requires you 40 hits to get 40 cd , you get 10cd more and extra 20cc after only 25headshots with Chameleon wich has almost no recoil. With Backfire you do get the stacks instantly but they last only 10 seconds - so you're starting from scratch in room 2. And lets be honest , would you really be stacking so much hazpro and bleedres if it wasnt for that gun ? Because with any other weapon you'd be getting 36%cd just by removing the bleed mods + lets say you leave 3x secondaries of hazpro on and you'd get antoher 24%cd...thats 60% without needing to stack anything, plus you can run 1x belstone armory piece and get 1% armor regen wich is equal to 3x max stated regen secondaries. That's how i see it.

@@IamFox EXACTLY.....I just recently started placing the Division 2 (never played it before) and I love it. I'm just not very high in rankings or exotic pieces. My primary is a Hunters Fury gear set but I run my True Patriot from time to time too. I just can't seem to make True Patriot hit like Hunter's Fury. Doubt I ever will at this point. Just seems like TP wasn't made to compliment DPS the same way HF does. But if you could somehow concoct a TP build that can hit substantially WITHOUT AN EXOTIC PIECE, that would be the answer to my prayers lol.
TP was designed mainly for Support Tanks. What it lacks in damage, it makes up for with utility and team buffing.
