If I remember my childhood well, it had the best attack in the entire game. I loved playing as teutons so I could build those slow white cloak knights and wreck my enemies.
Well done, my fellow brother, I salute your dedication, But listen, my fellow knight, I know some of has have been on hard times, but it cannot be that hard to find a squire!
I think those are so much better than the later ones... They can be weaker in battle, but at least he can walk without sounding like my grandma's washing machine lol
forgive me if I'm wrong but the Tuetonic and Templar Knights did not have the huge cross on the torso but instead had a small palm sized cross over where there heart would be.
Nicely done! Seems like you could fit a hidden helm under that great helm if you don’t want to wrap the chainmail fully around your face. Looks great overall!
Not quite right. You seem to be going for a late 13th century Crusader. So the helm is ok, but a Sugarloaf would be more common in that period. The brigandine style greaves, vambraces and couter didn't exist yet. Through the gauntlets are similar to the Visby Gauntlets, so they are mostly fine for late 13th century. Though they look a little too much like mitten gauntlets. It'd be better if they were less so. You could have straight up plate greaves that only cover the front of your shins as they were used in the late 13th century. You're missing some Mail Hoes to go over the padded ones. The haubergeon is too short and should be a longer hauberk with a riders split. Your shoes should be covered in Mail and you don't have any horse spurs from the look of it. A coat of plates under the surcoat would be a good addition. The Ailette's are a nice touch though. Over all its a nice costume and the anachronisms are WAAAAY less than many.
Girl: Seljuk Turks ain’t sexy Seljuk Turks: plsss girl I have good grammar and stuff *Teutonic Knight appears out of nowhere* Girl: u are sexy, I want.
Königsberg, Marienburg and Danzig in Prussia are the ancestral home of the Teutonic Knights. They were founded and built by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century.
Danzig is an old Slavic city. The first records of a settlement in this place appear in the 8th century. The Teutonic Knights burned Danzig and murdered its inhabitants on November 13, 1308.
Just getting started with planning my Teutonic Knight kit. Got some amazing ideas from this video, thanks for sharing! Do you have any suggestions for places where I could get more info on historically accurate armor?
I have a small 1/72 scale model troops of Teutonic Knights from Italery. Some figures have sort of horns or banners on their helms. They also have golden details on them. You need to get yourself one of those.
How you put on these arms yourself?I mean how you are fasten them? I get everything on in my armor but not the arms under the mail( early 15th century French style)
well that depends on the sword, there is the shortsword, longsword, broadsword, greatsword, arming sword, claymore, rapier, falchionor, ulfberht, zweihander, gladius, but the reason why there is a stereotype the armor and swords are really heavy is because they were originally made of iron, a really heavy metal, im pretty sure i got most of that right sincerely Dr. Robo/Jester Knight
Dr. Robo oh boy...alright so stuff like broadswords /shortsword are pretty broad terms. An arming sword with a broad blade might be called broadsword, but in essence its still an arming sword. just like a 12th c sword is an arming sword, but a 14th century 1h sword is an arming sword aswell. same with clymore and great sword. a claymore basically is a greatsword. besides, stell has already been descovered far before 600ad
Pardon me if I'm wrong, I'm genuinely curious. Isn't the cross on the tabard supposed to be red, to represent the Templars willingness to die in battle?
Alex Kulbitsky Each order of Knights had their own symbols and colors. Templars wore a Red Cross on their chests, while Teutonic Knights generally wore a simple black cross like this or a golden cross with a black eagle on top.
HOLY LORD TEMPLAR SAMUEL: Be Strong in the Lord Thy God Knight of the Teutonic Order and never fall unto the devil's temptation resist the devil and with the Lord and Heavenly Jesus Christ at your side you can resolve this quickly. +Geht KeinenWasAn (SpareTimeWarrior) I don't know actually. It just provides more material between your head and a weapon. Without a helm a coif is only good at preventing cuts. It does not handle blunt force.
For anyone wondering where I got any of the pieces I made a quick video covering everything. Hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/qFV9Pk47tyQ/w-d-xo.html
