I love Mystery Ranch. I had one of their 3-Day Assault packs that went to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, Mongolia, and about seven other countries over the course of 11 years. Zero issues with the bag but it was stolen by a crackhead in the Seattle area
Thanks for the walkthrough your bag. I know some feel the cost of the bag is high, but I have carried bags of some sort for a very long time and what would seem like a great inexpensive deal ends up falling apart in a year or two and I have to spend that same inexpensive money all over again, but if I spend a little bit more for the quality gear I find that the bags last nearly forever and I only spend the money once. I at least appreciate that you wear a mask when in public. Thank you for that. I wish you could see why its so important to do so right now, however. In my home town, people have started ignoring the mask mandate and we're now the hotspot of my state. People are dying here.
Hey Cody, I wanted to comment on your mask statement. IMO, it's not ridiculous, wearing a mask seems like exactly the type of thing you'd stand for. You already do so much for your neighbors without even a thought, but yet wearing the mask is ridiculous? Man I have been a fan for a lot of years and will continue to be, I'm not the type of person to be like, "he called masks ridiculous, boycott!!!" or whatever outrage is trendy at the time, but calling the mask ridiculous seems like the opposite of what Wranglerstar stands for. Wear that mask for their protection, because you care about your neighbors and the other humans. Just my two cents, I'm not a troll, plox don't ban me lol
@@IntroToWebDesign nooo.. an individuals decision to wear a mask is about protecting those vulnerable. A government agency's recomendation, is about liability. And a government requirement, is about control. Very closely related to fear.

Sure you won't hit and kill everyone, but even if you hit and kill one, that is enough. Also, it's not like you have to wear them forever, just until the vaccines are ready and tested. I look at it as a way to help my fellow humans out, I don't give a damn what the politicians say because they're all criminals, but every doctor and nurse that I know personally advocates for masks on everyone. LOL at the guy who thinks he needs a gun and knife to go to town and complains about the only item that will save lives, the mask.
Ur a bot
I LOVE THEIR GEAR
That is for sure the nicest everyday bag I've seen. Wow! Thanks for sharing, gonna get one myself right away
That’s a nice quick draw pocket for your passport! 😁
Big fan of the page, but does this guy really carry military grade body armor every time he leaves the house?
David Pickard seems a bit excessive, didn’t think guy was so paranoid.
Just to go in to town.
shelzmike you made some good points, still feels just a bit excessive though.
@@drott150 I think believing society is on the brink of violent collapse is a bit paranoid as well
Maybe prudent, for Portland.
At 7:05 what happened with the zipper?
Lived on 14th and Failing for a while. Can confirm North Portland is the shits.
can't quite see the logic in being prepared (having a grab bag) and not thinking that masks are sensible defense against covid 19.
Being required to wear masks in all outdoor sitations is a bit absurd and the only real argument for it is "well people are too dumb to make any kind of judgement so we enforce it everywhere"
Masks prevent you from spreading it, not from getting it
2 years later, it is clear you were duped like a fool into mask hysteria. Hope you learned to respect smarter people going forward.
Love the videos! Make a video showing how you store your AR in the truck!
Look into a bumper that has a hidden pocket
Cody, please show your com setup.
How much can the pack hold?
Great video, very comprehensive!
Exactly 7.
Cody, love your videos. I have a question--- If I'm looking at say a 2 year old video and post a comment or question in it, do you get an alert or some notice that someone has asked a question in an old video ? I watch quite a few folks like you but don't know if I should take my current question to the newest video you made or post the question in the old video. Thanks for any info you can make .
I love these videos so much.
Nice setup. Are those the ceramics you did a video on a while back?
My family has been a long supporter of Mystery Ranch, from duffles, multi day, day packs, ski pack for my son. You get what you pay for!! Thanks Cody!
I at least appreciate that you wear a mask when in public. Thank you for that. I wish you could see why its so important to do so right now, however. In my home town, people have started ignoring the mask mandate and we're now the hotspot of my state. People are dying here.
Thanks for recommendations on the gear! Awesome share!
I love your videos there very informative thx so much
Maybe I missed it. Whats the overall weight?
You are missing the reason behind the masks, It's about control and fear,
Wranglerstar It’s about protecting those that are most vulnerable. It’s simple, unobtrusive, and proven effective.
@@IntroToWebDesign nooo.. an individuals decision to wear a mask is about protecting those vulnerable.
A government agency's recomendation, is about liability.
And a government requirement, is about control. Very closely related to fear.
@@wranglerstar I have heard the conspiracies, and I respect your opinion and do agree to an extent, but I follow the advice of the medical professionals, and ignore the politicians. I know quite a few people now who have contracted it, even 2 young people (both under 30). What they have gone through, I would not wish on anyone. It's not going to kill everyone, we all know that, but it is for sure going to kill many of those at risk, and if you're asymptomatic, it's like walking around in public firing a gun at everyone. Those are the humans I listen to, as they are the ones who have the most intimate knowledge and experience of this thing we're battling. I hope you stay happy and healthy man, we need Wranglerstar videos for many years to come!
@@IntroToWebDesign by the way, I'm a 28 year old heart transplant with his first kid on the way... I take drugs to artificially suppress my imune system.
I AM, the vulnerable. It is MY responsibility, to stay safe.
I wear an N95 mask. Not the general public.
What are your thoughts about the "Leatherman Raptor " and could you eventually do a review on one?
Can you imagine traveling with this guy? Having to take 69 different bags and 2389 pounds of gear. Just in case lizardmen attack
Amazing to me all the expense and effort Americans go to for events that never happen
@@drott150 Canada. And no it never has
@@drott150 enlighten me then. When did society break down into anarchy?
Expandable is clutch....even if you don’t buy something. You can never pack your stuff as compactly for the trip home as you did when leaving...dirty cloths and what not. imo
That small "coin" pouch is 40 bucks! Gees! 😲🤦🏾♂️
Funny how something that takes talent and hours out of your day to produce costs a little bit of money.
We are too acustomed to cheap sweatshop prices from China! Quality has a price!
If you are handy with a thread and needle or a sewing machine, then nothing is stopping you from making your own.
@@schwuzi You sound angry my man, lol. If you can prove to me it took hours to create 1 little 3"x3"pouch I'll retract my opinion, but until then... I work in law enforcement and I am former military and I can assure you that all the little pouches and attachments are WAY overpriced! Until then, feel free to keep spending your money but that's a little much IMO!
Without stirring the pot to much Jonathan is right. If I have the pattern the Asian seamstress that has a shop close to my job will make those for $5 a pop. Now don’t get me wrong I believe in paying for a well designed/made product but there’s a difference in a $600 pack that’ll carry 7-9 days of food/gear plus an elk quarter and a $40 3x3 coin pouch that holds smalls. Even kifaru and their extreme prices knows better then to charge more $25 for a stuff sack. That’s my opinion hope you guys have a great day. 😊
Don't learn about peak design then 😉
Mystery ranch makes some good stuff, not my cup of tea but definitely a quality gear choice. I like triple aught design (expensive) for my grab and go stuff and exo mountain gear for my hunting pack
I want to hear Mrs. W's story of her Mazda. It reminds me of my $200, '87 Nissan Hardbody that I fixed for $50 and drove for years.
The swap arooskiee 😂😂😂 “only good when your phone charger is messed up and you can get away with swapping it with your relatives”
How to survive a protest... step one, don't go to protest. They aren't sneaky
Thanks I was looking for a get home bag for my wife.
Any update on the hat/patches?
'You needed to get to really quickly' you must mean the Snickers bar for the hangry missus, right? 🤣
I figured diapers for the children. If you have kids, you better have spare diapers in your car e-kit.
Whatever became of the hats?
I wish I could just order the whole bag, contents and all. 😢🇺🇸🦅
So what happened to that Mazda? Did she get rid of it like they wanted?
