I like it Luke. Honestly, I want to here the melodic strength of a Einaudi (ie top notch). No problem structurally, its just getting the X factor difference between lets say 'a Cure track' vs 'a good but non hit'.... Definitely on the right path.... Can you also find your own voice a bit more.... even if its decidedly more English - for me Richter is v different than Lang or Einaudi... Just my opinion feel free to disagree.... Also how about moving on from post minimalism to more of the indie classical sound scapes?

The first part seems very ephemeral due to the cadences and chord progression. I LOVE IT! The sweet pairing in the middle of this piece is so sentimental. I also absolutely love the voicing you did while the higher chordal structure was soaring (emphasizing the higher note and using slight rubato). Incredibly captivating. 🎼🎤

Another beautiful composition Luke! I love the way you develop the melody as you move from the initial lower presentation to the higher registers; you create such interesting iterations and off-shoots. I especially liked how both the upper and lower arrive at the same note at the very end. Bravo! PS I was chuckling at the poise you showed (as a professional musician does) when the sheet music started to ripple in the breeze; glad they stayed put ;)

It is so valuble to me to look that videos. It makes me feel so calm and It remebers me of very old times where I played the piano for the first time with 7 years on a old piano which is standing outside. I played a few notes on it and I was very captured to playing the piano after that. I really love that this happens. Today Im composing my own little songs , play other stuff to it like bass , drums ( on a drumsynth whatsoever on a MPC ) and let my creativity flow. All because I started playing that old piano so long ago.

omg guys I heard this piece for the first time a few months ago, and I thought it was really nice, but I swear i bookmarked it and weeks later I got it stuck in my head and I couldnt find it. So, i looked for it for about an hour and couldn't find it. I was looking at some other songs on youtube when I saw Luke Faulker comment so I clicked on his profile and my jaw dropped when I saw it was the same channel I saw the piece on and I am happily reunited with his masterpiece. :)
