It’s a great bait. I’ve caught about 5 5-6 pounders on it but definitely not the best bait. No offense Z Man. Don’t get me wrong Z Man has made some of the best lures ever. But I really think where it shines is fishing on silt or mud bottoms because the arms make a cloud of mud on the bottom. Just Imo.
I see another use too...cut off those back legs and you got a Zman helgramite, lol. I need to try the Carolina rig again, I sorta abandoned it years ago.

That’s a really cool twist on a Carolina rig. It reminds me of a big water beetle swimming at the bottom of a pond. Can’t wait to try this!
