      simply attach an automatic wiper to the top which rakes material as it rotates. it could even be a button to rotate whenever it jams, absolutely insane how a here few bucks could save thousands

    I think that the hook is an ingenious piece of Engineering Design. Hooky enough to be identified as a hook but not too hooky where it could hook itself in the crusher and become jammed. The skilled operator will be able to remove most rocks that are small enough to pass through the gap of the crusher. It is also, top to bottom, the height of several Elephants standing on top of one another.

    • @Iaintwoke
      @Iaintwoke 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some crushers do use hydraulic breaker arms but a lot of people don't like them because they tend to damage the crusher over time. Hooks are a quick fix but they don't always work. Then you have to crane it out or sometimes a thermal lance is used to cut the boulder. Not so much now since someone hit a moisture pocket and it blew back in his face....

    They can't really use the hook because it's the wrong shape for what they want to do in this instance. More importantly, it isn't properly attached to the winch cable. The hook holding the larger hook does not have anything that will hold the cable in. The larger hook could just release into the cone. Can't wait to see that happen.

    En la Industria minera ... se usan los CHANCADORES y los hay de varios modelos : de Ruedas , de mandíbulas , etc ...
    En la Cía. Industrial El Volcan ... la chancadora trituraba la Colpa de Yeso y quedaban los trozos de piedra caliza , las que dañaban las parrillas de los Martillos de molienda ( esos martillos trituraban aún más los trozos de piedras calizas y colpas que caian a las parrillas de acero desde la correa transportadora ... al final se reducian tanto de tamaño , que las agarraba un elevador con capachos desde un par de cadenas y las arrojaba a unas tuberias que las conducian x gravedad ... hacia los conos de alimentación de los molinos de aire ( alli eran pulverizados los trocitos de colpa y piedra caliza que hubieran quedado después de todo lo anterior y el polvo de yeso fino ... terminaba en los conos o tolvas de carguio de los Hornos de coccion del yeso colpa ( el calor era cercano a los 1000 grados celcius de temperatura ... por lo que alli el yeso caia dentro del Horno e inmediatamente alcanzaba esa temperatura que si x alguna razón te salpicaba el cuerpo ... ¡¡ sufrias una quemadura terrible que te pelaba hasta los huesos !!.
    ESE YESO CALCINADO A 1000 GRADOS DE TEMPERATURA : Lo llamábamos "" Yeso Contínuo "" y una vez salia desde el Horno N7 de cocción , se usaba para alimentar x medio de tornillos " gusanos sin fin " ... al mezclador dónde al juntarlo con almidón , un poco de Yeso crudo ( sin cocción ), aditivos químicos , etc ...se formaba una pasta licuada que hiba entre medio de 2 rollos de cartón C.M.P.C. y le daba forma en la mesa de goma de secado ... a una PLANCHA DE VOLCANITA Contínua ... la que al correr por polines unos 100 metros de distancia ... llegaba ya DURA a la guillotina o mesa de corte , dónde se le da la dimensión o LARGO de la plancha de Volcanita ... de ahí entra a los secadores , que le quitan la Humedad que contiene , dejándo la plancha de Volcanita lista para salir a mesa de Volteo ( junta las planchas de 2 en 2 )... de ahi a la mesa de corte de bordes ( cuchillas cortan el exceso de largo de la plancha y se les pone la huincha de cartón con la cinta engomada de la CIA. IND. EL VOLCAN )... para finalmente ir al apilador ( dónde la máquina apila paquetes con 40 , 50 o 70 planchas según su espesor )... alli están listas y una grúa horquilla las toma y las lleva volando a la bodega , dónde esperarán para ser despachadas luego de su venta a constructoras o cadenas de Ferreterias que venden estos productos para uso en la Construcción .😎

      They leave a layer of that stuff in there because it protects the hopper from things like that huge rock you just saw falling in.

    why don't you have a hydraulic breaker to do this instead of stressing the overhead crane all the time? Surely it would pay itself off quickly due to reduced downtime and lower man hours?

      In India in many of the open cast mines of coal and iron ore , these type of gyratory crushers are being used . Indian PSU, at Ranchi manufacture these crushers . It 8s about 600 to 700 t and executing the work of foundations for these machines , election and commissioning of these machine with the receiving pit is fantastic and the happiness what you get when you successfully commission is priceless ! As rightly told by earlier gentlemen we use hydraulic rockbreakers to break big rocks . I was incharge of this project fortunately by God's grace ..
