    I like the clear and professional "no re-entry" sign. Great idea for my laundromat as I sometimes have an issue and did not think about adding a "no re-entry" sign. Completely agree a small well designed space can produce big results

      no re-entry? What will happen if you have to keep going back and forth to get more baskets or going back in to get more baskets?

      Thank you. Yes, when we didn't have a sign it was a problem, but its clearly stated and helps.

      @@CrestwoodRocks It has never been a problem since putting signs up. People know about the rules, and they can go to one of our other locations that stays open later.

    When r u guys gonna do a video of ur new continental washers ? I really want to see that fast final spin especially the speed up and slow down

      We are working on it. When I am able to pin myself down and try not to get in the way of production I will do it.

      @@splashemoutlaundromat thank you very much! I really enjoy ur videos and hope to own a business like yours one day. Believe me there is plenty of people like me who love the laundry business and didn’t just get into it for the money. It’s a passion of mine and I aspire to learn as much as I can and eventually be a successful business owner.
      Btw what r ur thoughts on tunnel washers? I know u don’t need one but I think they r super impressive

      @@mikeschulte4271 Thank you. Tunnel washers are normally for very large plants, and they do very high volume laundry. I think they are nice, but you better know how to work on them, or have a maintenance staff who focuses on it.

      @@splashemoutlaundromat yea honestly they can do like 8-10,000 pounds per hour. I was lucky enough to see 2 of them when I was back in middle school. I was staying at a very nice hotel in dc and they had one there and then I got to go to another hotel and tour their laundry. Sheer luck.
      Continental has a 255 pound soft mount washer I got to see that also sadly I didn’t get to watch it spin as it was in a big laundry facility and I was only on a quick tour but it was cool

      After 830pm no entry, and has not been a problem thus far for about a year.

      @@splashemoutlaundromat I was referring to if customers had more than one basket to take back to the car or more than one basket to get out of the car to put in the laundry center. I guess you meant the no reentry is after hours and not generally speaking then

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CrestwoodRocks Absolutely. The door from the outside will automatically lock allowing them to leave with no reentry. If they have someone with them they can open the door from the inside after closing time only. Other than that they can come and go as they please during open hours.

    How long did the project take to move the washers from the walls to rows? In the future, would you reconsider having walking space on both sides of the washers versus the row starting on the wall?
    Great video as always and thanks for sharing!

    This Laundromat is laid out very nice. I really like that. Unfortunately with my space at my laundromat, the entire place is 2000 ft.² which I have a electrical room a back storage room I have an office for drop off and it is a very old spot I think from the 70s where they did not have big machines, and if I put my big machines upfront, you can’t come through the door.

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes, and this is why we reconfigured the entire infrastructure in this particular location so we could add some big washers. Thanks for the compliment. Yes, we have no storage in this location so we choose not to do wdf in this location.

    How long is the building and how wide to get your 1500 sq ft. and does that cound the room in the back too or is the 1500 just the laundry area?

      The total space is 1500 sq ft. Not sure the length and width of the building. Pretty much it's the same length and width.

    How much "butt room" between rows of washers, Kelli?

      We try to make sure that 2 baskets back to back with a person between the baskets can come between the row of washers.
