With dreams of becoming a successful businessman and even a millionaire, the ex-military man, Brian Flanagan, waits for his big break while serving drinks at a New York City tavern and studying for his degree. Funny, many say his character was an asshole in this movie for the way he treated each female character as bets, but the Brian Flanagan character is charming as hell, espically during the poetry scenes.
@@ruthlessaggressionguy2033 Doug came between him and Coral as he was jealous ( he seduced her to get HIS money back on their basket ball game ) and he comes between him and Jordon too ( although neither know that Jordon is Park Avenue thus wealthy too, but wants to be loved for herself and not her money which is why she keeps it a secret from Brian ). Brian realised his mistake as soon as he had made it, that’s why he went around to the beach house. These “ critics” didn’t watch how Tom’s character grows during the movie.
@@jane1975 I get the fact that he made the mistake with coral by making a bet with Doug, as he didn’t know Doug would mess his relationship up, but to mess up his second relationship up with Jordan by spending time with Bonnie, seems rediculous. Flanagan should have learnt not to make bets with Doug, espically when his relationship is on the line
