Might try to relax those fingers on your release hand. It may not seem like it but holding them out creates muscle Stree in that hand.let those fingers just hang down comfortably. You are almost there on pulling thru your shot instead of totally hammering that trigger. You are firing it by moving that index finger but so close to just pulling. If you can make yourself not move that finger but just keep it hooked over the trigger you be getting more control over the firing. With relaxing those fingers trying to pull thru the shot like you’re trying to poke someone with your elbow you can create a more or less surprise shot break. Try this at like 10 yards to get the feel of what I’m saying. Don’t work about aiming. Just do the shot and get the feel of a surprise break. 👍👍
Bro it's awesome that you got on that ShotIQ game early and started putting together a process to follow to help you focus on the important things. It's like information overload at first but Joel really helped me control my shot and start enjoying archery again. Keep at it my man
You have the right idea for practice and improvement. Keep working until you are solid at each distance before you increase to the next step. If you ever plan on bow hunting most of your shots in the woods are 30 and in. Good work, it's cool to see your progress.
That's the way to do it practice all that you can and you will get there, good form and walking through your steps that work for you, keep it up good shooting man.
Looks like you're on a good track. Long-distance shots are a mental game more than anything else once your pin is set. Just let that pin float, focus on executing your shot process consistently, and make sure to follow-through (i.e. continue to aim into the arrow hits the target). With enough practice and repetition, everything will start to line itself up automatically. Anyway, keep up the good work. I just found your channel and i look forward to seeing your progress 👍.
lol hilarious every time you pull that range finder out! Love it. Oh also what’s making the creaking sound? Need to get that sorted before you hit the woods. Love the channel man!
Good shooting, thanks for sharing! Lost a few at 40, they literally just disappear 🫥 im sure they're in the ground. One of my baseball dad friends got me going deep on doing my own arrows, here we go, my poor wife. Haha! Love to hear your process too, it's like an archers signature.
Talk about consistency!! Happy too see it man!! Keep at it, soon enough you’ll be in a tree stand or a blind or out doing TAC shootouts. Those are fun 😂😂 Just wait until you get a more upgraded sight like one of the redline brands, a very affordable price for a very updated sight. I have the RL-3 5 pin sight
Great video. I am right hqnded but shoot my bow left-handed as that is. My dominant eye. I do so much better now, i would suggest you triying to see how much more accurate you will be. Just keep shooting
Bro you got potential... but go buy yourself a Matthew's lift and a qad rest and some good arrows and practice everyday and maybe just maybe you'll be half as good as me 😉 good luck
Hammer out all your flaws on the budget bow since they're more forgiving. Then move to flagship. Huge difference between the 2, however that forgiveness is a huge bonus when your goal is to improve from little or no experience.

Keep it up buddy... I always shoot 3D better than targets
Thanks man I appreciate it
Keep up with the process. Before ya know it, you'll be at 60 shooting a small paper plate.
most def man...just trusting the process and staying consistent
50yds is a good goal
I’m working towards it
I’d recommend getting rid of that peep sight the rubber tubing isn’t good for accuracy
I’ve been somewhat accurate with it but I will eventually
The thing about the tubing is they always break at the most in opportune time. Or it slaps you in the eye when it does break.
@@timbow50 it def broke on me already like 2 weeks ago 😂
