- The How We Cruise Crew boarded the beautiful new Carnival Celebration with Lee Mason - aka Lee Your Cruise Director! It was the start of an amazing 8 night trip to the ABC Islands - Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. Brian and Julie and their 3 young kids stayed in a Family Harbor Suite, so check that out as well. We are on the celebration in February 2024. Where did you guys stay in Miami? We are currently booked at the holiday inn by bayside. Reviews aren’t the best so looking for other ideas.
We stayed at the same Holiday Inn. Here is a video from this cruise. We can answer questions regarding that hotel and some of the other surrounding hotels if you send us an email or fb message.

It would have been nice to keep the cove balconies on the harbor suite
We do agree. We love the family harbor but don’t think we’d do it again without a cove balcony.

What hotel did you stay in the night before your cruise? We’re sailing on the Celebration this June and flying on the day before. And boarding at 11 is pretty early. Did you have Faster To The Fun?
We stayed at the Holiday Inn across from Bayside which we would recommend. Super easy to get to the port and plenty of food and entertainment at Bayside the night before. Super easy to board with the Family Harbor Suite priority boarding so we did not need FTTF. Without the suite, we’d consider it.
@@HowWeCruise I just found out from my wife we’re staying at Comfort Inn & Suites near the airport because they have a complimentary cruise port shuttle. I’m glad to see how nice the Family Harbor lounge is. This is the first time we’ve booked a Family Harbor room. We did get FTTF since our room isn’t a suite. After having FTTF on our last cruise I don’t think we’ll ever cruise without it again, at least until we make platinum level!
