UNRWA should be dissolved. It is 'several' decades past its justifiable need to exist. It only continues as a result of the need for its staffing to keep their jobs. This is a non-profit phenomenon. Once an organism is created, its internal needs become primary, over the external purpose for its creation.

I'm just sick of the bias of the UN against my country, Israel, leave us be. peace between Israel and the palestinians will happen not because the UN or others will mediate it. It will happen when people on the ground realize that its the only way forward.

Peace between to people with different ideologies will never happen because some entity outside tells them to.. but if they both see the profitability in the short term and long term of doing so… but if the one side has an ideology and a strong religion the teaches thst the other is evil and must be eradicated there will never be peace. Now Israel is removing the worst part of the cancer in Gaza.. Lets hope the good people do the right thing and take the chance to build up a peacefull society… I dont know if Israel should take over schools, Police and help Gaza people to be more civilised in their ideology, so the cancer doesnt come back, but at least Israel is doing something Europe and the rest of the world are not able to ❤️2 🇮🇱

I am really wondering, as journalists have documented this problem of the UN-schools again and again - why wasn't anybody fired for violating the very rules of UN? UN has two agencies for refugees. UNRWA for Palestinian refugees. And UNHCR for ALL other refugees worldwide.
Also UNRWA defines anyone displaced by any war in Palestine as a refugee. However it also defines their children and grandchildren as Palestinian refugees. So much money gets poured into Palestine by UNRWA much of which goes straight to HAMAS. Little wonder that the leaders of Hamas are billionaires while the citizens of Palestine suffer and die.

Dissolve the U.N. In Burma/Myanmar now I was earlier in Bangkok. An ever so typical sight for me in poor countries is seeing a glaring,shiny white, brand new $40,000 SUV with U.N. Insignia on its sides. Or in Addis Ababa many years ago I wanted so see for myself the purported most luxurious hotel in all of Africa, a Sheraton. I remember walking there, past the worst slums I’ve ever seen. Entering the hotel I witnessed a huge cocktail party for some branch of the U.N. And don’t ever ask a U.N. employee in the streets of Vientiane why they drive such luxury vehicles. The defensiveness will blow you away. As a child growing up in a liberal family in Virginia I remember seeing billboards demanding the USA withdraw from the U.N.. I thought how unfair to think unkindly of an organization whose purpose is to promote peace and prosperity. Little did I know the reasoning, even back then. Not only is it a depository of those enjoying living high on the hog its also collection of ungrateful, demanding poor countries playing on Western decency and values to promote their own distortions. Poor Israel suffers most the venom. Apologies for the verbosity. Aged and alone and staying clear of the fighting in the north here in Myanmar . What better way to kill time than peruse TH-cam.

Back then they had an excuse for not believing what Hytler and co were up to as there was no photos etc. This time around? That is a question that can only be answered if you can get past rational thinking. It’s irrational to hate someone just because someone told you to. But people do that. Radical Islam wants to rule the whole world. That is one of its aims and is clearly stated in their holy books. In order to take control of the world you need millions of people willing to die for the cause. That’s why they teach their children that death in the service of U know would be their greatest accomplishment. They teach them to hate the Jews first, because there are fewer Jews than Chr*stians and non-religious people. After the Jews (heaven forbid) are annihilated the Chr*stians will become the next targeted group and (again heaven forbid) after they are wiped out the rest of the people must either convert or kiss their elbows goodbye. Hard to believe that in this age such savagery is embraced.
In the meantime they are already starting to kill non-Muslims and burn down churches in parts of Africa but nobody seems to be paying much attention to that.

UNRWA was (is) responsible for deciding who would qualify for refugee Status. There were 200 000 Christian displaced persons in Iraq and hardly any qualified.

I agree that UN has an bias against Israel. But coming from a small country myself, I think its too dangerous to dissolve UNRWA.
Instead democratic nations should create a parallel UN for Democratic Nations ("DN"). Then there would be UN for all the nations on the World. And DN, only democratic nations could join.
The competition of the donation-money between those two organiisations, could result in a better product.
As the current example: If UNRWA is too biast against Israel, many democratic nations whould redirect their donations to DNRWA.
A more harmless example is the never-ending conflict in organisations, between bureaucracy and efficiency. People in a democracy prefer to vote for solutions, where they get something for their money.

What Should Israel Do Next in Light of Their Declaration of War?
First, we should reflect deeply upon the painful divide that has festered among us, causing the devastating toll of hundreds of lives lost and thousands wounded. We need to yearn for a major change and wholeheartedly unite as one. Only the bonds of unity can shield us from future tragedy and elevate our nation from the abyss of despair.
We cannot afford to nurse bitterness or delay action, waiting for the war's end to ponder our fractured state. Now is the time for introspection. We need to pinpoint the reasons behind our present circumstances and act accordingly.
Our quest for understanding needs to extend to our lives’ very source: the upper force of love, bestowal and connection that acts on us beyond our current level of awareness, which perceives through an egoistic and divisive lens. It is no matter of religion, but a realization that reality’s governing force is singular, and we accordingly need to stand united before it as one.
Precisely in our trying times, we are in need for an expansion of consciousness to let the upper force of love and bestowal into our lives. We need to raise the pain and anguish that erupts in so many people in such times to the upper force, and wish for it to mend our torn relations, and draw us closer together. We must seek to hold each other close to our hearts, not solely in times of war, but as an enduring duty.
We are a nation established not on a biological foundation, but on a spiritual-ideological one: "Love your neighbor as yourself." That is, we were people from all around ancient Babylon who felt a problem with living our lives solely according to competitive-materialistic ideals and sought for a higher truth to our existence, which we revealed as a higher force of love, bestowal and connection that united us above our divisive drives. That is why we cannot remain divided without suffering from our separation.
Our mission to unite above our divisions is constant, because divisive egoistic desires constantly surface within us, driving us apart. Therefore, much like a diligent student who finds new homework awaiting them each day, we should not accumulate any more overdue assignments that end up exploding in our faces, pressuring us into critical situations such as the one we now find before us. Instead, we should hurry up and correct our hearts to favor unity “as one man with one heart” above our divisions.
