He’s a different kind of player, but I liken his impact to Demar DeRozan. Big scorer on a mediocre team, but if he’s your best player you ain’t never gonna win. This dooms this franchise to another decade of mediocrity.

If you give him max money, you have little chance of attracting the necessary teammates in order to go deep into the playoffs. You could draft two superstars, but it takes time for great players to become superstars. Then, they gonna want to get paid, too.
