You need to leave some space between machine and scalp. I won’t suggest using it directly on roots

Setting spray - Wella or schwarzkopf both are nice for longer stay

For me it lasts 2 days maximum, however it do differ from person to person but it definitely works.

It’s better to use it after 3-4 days and not daily as its a heated brush so daily use can lead to damage hair.
