I was super lucky because it snowed the night before when I visited both Yumthang Valley and Gurudongmar lake. Those pine tree forests in Yumthang valley were looking so beautiful covered in fresh white snow. It was magical.

Once again a great justice to the place. I visited leh just a day back and it didn't feel as cold as Lachung even though the temperature was way lower in Leh. Lachung, Lachen, yumthang, Northern region of Sikkim feels colder due to high moisture content in air.
