Been a struggle! Been waiting on a tree service load this week that never showed up?? Getting the truck hitched up to go back to the farm here shortly! Evan arrived home last night from college! Gotta get him some rounds to split🤣
Russ, I have watched so many people do re-splits, and you are the best. I amazed that I spend the time watching the technique, but it is both experience and skill.
@@donmcgimpsey1706 Thank you. I've split a lot of wood with that splitter! I'll be sad to see it go but hopefully we are on to bigger and better things.
I like your yard and process, however, how are your customer able to burn the wet or at least non seasoned wood. Those rounds are in no way ready to burn. Just a thought,
@@jimnorton7993 the ash we metered in yesterdays video. It was 23% or less on the ash. All our wood is advertised and sold as green anyhow. Some people burn it as is and others mix it or will let it sit stacked until next season
Kevin is awesome! God bless Kevin!
@@georgesalamon8128 Kevin is the man!
Great Job Mr Russ and crew.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead thank you sir!
I really like that style on conveyor and the speed it has
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead it has been really efficient and works well for us!
Looking good Russ. You and Kevin make a good team 👍

The 3 dogs fighting over the two dog bed had me ☠️

I'm stoked to see the new splitter
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead we are anxiously awaiting it as well.
A dump for the bed of the tundra would be nice! Keep up the good work Kevin!
@@Russellsfirewood I'm searching for one
@@WilleysFirewood How much additional weight?, air bags or not tires, axles and brakes are only rated for so much.
@ I'll weigh it but I'd say with 1/2 cord it's about 2500lbs extra
It's good to hear the small firewood is catching on. You're still handsome with that hat hair.
@@OpenAirAdventure my goodness!!! I was worried🤣 thanks Kenny!
@WilleysFirewood haha, you're awesome buddy
Good One Russ, I absolutely love Ash and have a bunch of it.

Gotcha
We had that warm up and melt here. Yesterday I was able to access the logs I needed to deliver. Ground was hard.
@@VicsYard it hardened up here again now thankfully
Saw what you did with the title- could say sales are on fire? Poor little pooch, hope Santa brings a larger Dog bed. Have a good weekend
@@MicahHughes-y9t the cat stole the other bed 🤣 I think smaller quantity delivery has some serious merit in our area.
🎉
Noticed you are still running the full spare on the tundra, gotta get another spare to be safe
@@nmancini I need another aluminum rim. I have a spare underneath in the factory location.
I see a sawmill in the background - do you mill lumber for customers? Stay safe.
