fun fact: This song has a lot of references to the star, Regulus which is the brightest star in the constellation of Leo. Leo is the constellation where the Leonids meteor shower comes from. Regulus has a nickname called "Cor Leonis" where it means Lion's Heart.
Since Regulus (the song) is a Honami focus song, it may imply that Honami herself is Leo/Need's brightest star and their heart. Coincidentally, Honami plays drums which sounds similar to a heartbeat itself.
The star Regulus is a quadruple star system which means it is a stellar system made up of 4 stars. So Regulus (the song) could also symbolize Leo/Need as a whole, each a bright star of their band. Also I want to add that the unit's colors that represent them are also the color of some meteors due to some substances in them (yellow, purple, green, blue, red).
Regulus is also a white-blue colored star, and if we look closely at the event's costumes, they are colored in mostly blue and white.
EDIT: I just realized that the lyrics "These stars aren't extraordinarily bright, but they illuminated each other up." might also be a reference to Regulus being a quadruple star system, because it's like saying that "These members aren't the best, they aren't perfect, but together they strive hard to shine bright"

Starting because of VBS but staying for Leo/Need, their story, songs and cover is just such a chef kiss for me (and growing up in the era where bands are dominating the music also give me some bias to L/N
@@ojiissans814 I forgot how I started, but I hyperfix on WxS. I read the entire story for L/N, but felt it was...somewhat basic? I do guess it's a normal friend group situation, which is why I assume I don't enjoy L/N as much. For me, it's just a group of friends who went their separate ways, but in the end accepted their differences and try to stick together throughout it all. I feel no connection to L/N unlike how I do with the other bands.
With the other bands, I'm usually able to relate with one of the characters, but for L/N, there really isn't anyone. For MMJ, it's Airi. For VBS, it's Kohane. For WxS, it's Emu and Nene, and for N25, it's Mafuyu and Kanade. I really felt like I couldn't relate to any of the L/N characters, which ultimately is why they're my least favorite.
I do wish L/N was more popular though, I feel like I barely see fans of them!
I'd say I relate to Saki the most in L/N because of the similar personality of Emu, but I think the being sick for most of her childhood might've ruined it ^^;

Also, well the main story revolved around their friendship. But when the story continues, it's progressively amazing. They are trying their best to become pro, start from zero. A lot of conflicts and huge character development. That is why their songs are all amazing since it is written for the story. I never regret catching up their story until current event, "Saki event" (i believe their song will be amazing too)
@@anordinaryhuman_ I normally call the groups a "band" for my own inconvenience. It's easier for me than saying unit or troupe, and just makes a bit more sense for me because they do produce music in the game. I do know that they are units/groups, but I prefer still calling them bands.
And see, that's the thing. I genuinely just couldn't get into it. The conflict in the main story kinda bored me, I didn't see much in it. I've read some of their events, but I think it just wasn't my cup of tea. I've seen the conflicts, and the way they care for each other. It just felt...oddly plain to me as compared to the others? I guess that's their charm for others, them being more realistic than any other of the characters. They're all just childhood friends trying to get through in life as a band.
I just really couldn't get into them, no matter how hard I tried. I think if they keep having commissioned songs like Regulus and Flyway, then I might feel like learnimg about them. The only ones I do have an interest in are Honami and Ichika.

You know what a Band is right? yes, they conclude a group of members who play various instruments + 1 main vocalist.
And also, not every group in proseka produce music. Those who are known to produce their own music are: 25-ji(online music), Leo/need(rock music and online "hatsune miku ver" music starting from event "Echo my Melody), and VBS (song composed by Toya)
Meanwhile, the rest are musical stage actors(WxS), street perfomance including singing and dancing(VBS), and as for MMJ, they dont produce music instead they have someone write song for them (from Event "Tied by Painful Hope)
All the unit commisioned song we have are songs that born from their feeling as the story progress, they just randomly know how to sing. Just like in every main story.
