Hands down Indian motorcycle is way more comfortable than HD stock. I had a 2017 Dark horse and I loved it, but they put a recall on the motor and when I took it in they said it would be a 5 month turn around so I traded it back for a 2003 anniversary Road King and a 2006 Electra Glide Ultra. I sold the RK to my buddy for $5,000 and kept the EG for myself. I miss that Indian I'm on a 2013 Road Glide Ultra now but I might be looking at some Indians
Got me a Pursuit. Yeah, it’s annoying when the music cuts out. It happens every once in a while. I love how well it handles for such a big bike. I take mine to the twisties a lot. So glad I got this bike.
Looking at the Pursuit myself - Demo days tomorrow and Saturday at I Motorsports in Elmhurst, IL. Love your scoot and really luv those leather bags near the side covers. Can you tell me where you got those at? Thanks Much and enjoy her... I hope Indian does right by you on a new wheel.
I test rode a new Challenger at a demo days event in May. I loved it. The bike behaved alot like my Victory cruiser but just better. I would like one but I'm not rushing to buy an Indian. Polaris broke it off in our asses. I'm still seeing 22 model year Challengers that are new in dealership showrooms.
I just turned 62 and I was planning on buying a Low Rider ST and just stumbled on this video. Have not been on a bike since I sold my Street Glide 17 years ago. I wanted a sport cruiser and the LRST was 100 lbs less then a Street Glide with that sweet M8 117. What did you not like about it? I am 5'7" and being a tad older it seemed like perfect bike. I also like the new Indian Scout which weigh around 550 lbs. Very tough decision because as you said we only get one shot as this thing called life so better enjoy it and I need to be back on two wheels. I could never handle a 900 lb bike like the Pursuit. What bike would you recommend? Do you think Indian Scout with Fairing and saddlbags can handle a 500 mile cruise? Or do I need a heavier bike like the Low Rider ST for the longer rides? Safe travels my friend🙏
I haven’t had the pleasure of riding a Scout yet, so I can’t really offer much in that, but it does sit lower than the ST. The ST rips and is a fun bike, i think I just got into a love hate relationship with it. I had just under 10K miles on it when I traded it in so I feel I got to know it well. No issues until it recently started acting strange when starting. I think that might have been the tune on it though. On long rides I found it uncomfortable, even with a saddlemen seat on it. I tried to make it mine, and I did, but at the end of the day, I wanted a touring bike to enjoy those days were I just go out all day and ride, and use the lighter bikes I have for commuting to work. I know that may not help much, but I really think it was just a me thing, the bike is nice and enjoyable. If you can, catch a demo day and throw a leg over both and go from there. Either way I think you’ll be happy. I’m waiting for a demo day to ride the Scout 101 myself.
I recently bought a 2023 indian challenger base model. I love it. Yes its missing some of the tech but its ok. I wanted to ask what is that watching looking screen on the left of the handle bars? Also what phone mount are you using? With maps, it acts up in my car as well. I feel its google maps itself and not the screen from the bike. google maps causes my phone to shut down, not start back up, black screen and overheat the phone. try using waze and see if it works better for you!
The watch to the left is for my Insta360 camera. It captures GPS information and is a remote to turn the camera on. Makes it a lot easier to work the camera while riding. For the phone mount, I use Quadlock products. This mount is a clamp around the bar basically. Totally agree the issue is google maps. If I use it from the start and don’t touch anything it works. But as soon as change screens between CarPlay and ride command, it crashes out. I will have to try Waze. Thanks for tip and for watching!!
@@jeffetherington5539 that’s a good question. I don’t think the phone will capture the gps information (speed, elevation, route, etc.) to display in video, but the remote does. The watch will stay on until I turn it off vs my phone timing out, then it’s pass code to unlock, then back to app. I don’t really like fooling with the app and wanted a quicker on/off solution for the camera and also the gps info and the watch does that. I do not think it is for everyone and I probably don’t use it to its full functionality either. I have a remote for my go pros as well, but never used them. This one is just packaged better. And I like the camera better than my go pros as well.
Those Pursuits are nasty right out of the box. Inverted Forks, 128hp I believe and Brembos all around. I plan on picking up a Copart FXLRS and fixing up with 128 Big Bore Kit. Essentially hit all the crappy Harley factory parts lol. Yeah good choice on the Indian. Ninjas are well made and maneuver well. Fairly well balanced. I like Hondas for the same reason. Ride Safe 🤙🏽🇺🇸

I heard someone came and asked about it shortly after I bought when I brought it back in for its first service. It was between this one and the gray one, but I wanted the audio system.
I haven’t heard anything from Polaris/Indian on the recall for the rear. I don’t think they liking acknowledging the wobble issue in the front, even though they are working with dealers to fix them. I would believe they are two separate issues.
I went on one group ride and it was cool to experience it, but it wasn’t something I would want to do again. Nothing cooler than 100+ Harley’s firing up and the same time! I do wish Indian would catch up to HOG perks. I feel that is one area that is lacking. The whole branded credit card with purchase points and all that jazz.
@@Riding_with_Adam our HOG rides go out every Saturday & Sunday with an average of 150 miles ride out on the mountains. Sometimes big crowd, sometimes only 10 bikes. For a guy like me who do not havea lot of friends that rides, HOG rides makes sense as solo ride is often boring.
