I'm Canadian but just went to Colorado with my bf last weekend! I would recommend not staying in Denver, there's really not much there. What we did was we stayed in downtown Denver the first night we got there, and then the next day we rented a car and headed into the mountains! We stayed in a town called Frisco which was close to both Vail and Breckenridge. It's so worth it to go to the mountains to see the fall colours right now. We then went south to Colorado Springs + Garden of the Gods which was amazing!

I live in Colorado… best time of year to visit is now with the beautiful fall colors. Would definitely recommend brickenridge!
Breckenridge is a bit closer to Denver than Vail, but both are within 2hrs. You could easily do day trips to Georgetown and Idaho Springs as those are ~1hr from Denver. Boulder and Golden are also really nice to visit, and there are lots of hiking trails accessible from them!
You guys should try and go to red rock amphitheater while in Denver. Also I would recommend Steamboat Springs CO but that’s a bit of a farther drive :) Enjoy your trip!

Hi Amanda! I love your videos. I’ve visited Colorado two times so far. When I go back I want to visit the Dushanbe tea house in Boulder, Colorado. It was brought from Tajikistan and looks beautiful. I would recommend checking out Rocky Mountain national park and the Garden of the gods. The Rocky Mountains is nice if you want to go on a long drive and has some otherworldly views. The garden of the gods has a trading post that has cool art and delicious fudge. Both the Denver contemporary art museum and science museum were interesting. Mango house is a great place to visit if you want good food and to support small refugee owned businesses. Washington park in Denver is pretty and there are some cool small businesses in that area. Sherpa house in Golden was my favorite restaurant there. They have a gift shop and cultural center there too.
Definitely need Mohammed to teach us how to make grilled chicken looks so good!

All my fellow denver girls here, brunch is great here and in Boulder too. My faves are Snooze Am eatery - heads up it's always packed, Morning story, coffee story or tom's diner. I feel like you would love Boulder and the restaurants there. I rec also hiking in Golden or garden of the gods, red rocks is a must. I guess u won't be staying long but steamboat springs is great. U can also do fall things here like pumpkin patches and festivals not sure if any are coming up, Anderson farms has 1 i think. Other that idk what else to do in denver since I'm an intorvert lol and check out trader Joe's. Oh and pearl street is great or broadway so many cute shops and bakeries and RHINO too. I live around cherry creek great for shopping and hiking trails too. I'm so excited would love to meet u but probably super busy lately but enjoy your trip and I hope you vlog.
Red rocks, garden of the gods, Rocky Mountain park is also a great spot.
Also things to do in Colorado is the Georgetown train railroad is a cool experience . Food options le French, maggiano’s little Italy, ice cream shops Bonnie’s ice cream .

Hi, I’m from colorado. Best hikes are in Boulder one good is green mountain west ridge.
I am from Denver. Please visit Colorado Springs (Garden of Gods, Cave of Winds, and Pikes-peak), a perfect day trip, I promise you will not regret it. Another day trip idea can be (Red Rocks-Gorge Town-Lake Dillon, Frisco). If you can stay at Frisco/Vail for the night, you can do Leadville-TwinLakes-Independence Pass-Aspen the next day. If you stay another night at Aspen, you can do Maron Bells-Glenwood Springs next day and come back to Denver the same day.

If I were you and you’re going to Colorado, I would first day when you get off the plane I would go and visit the national state park Rocky Mountain in Denver after that drive over to Breckenridge which is about one hour and 45 minutes from Denver spend the day there the next day you can go to Silver throne and do skiing Also they are definitely in season now. Also, if you want to go to Vail, they have a very nice mall and resort where you can walk around.
How do you like your sink being on the island? I have my sink and prep work right next to my oven but we are going to be moving soon and almost all homes I see are with the sink in the island away from the oven. Lol random question but you cook a lot like me so I thought I’d ask.

LISTEN! I’ve lived in Denver and wallah it’s nothing special. Definitely definitely go stay in Breckinridge or vail or any of the smaller, cozier towns. Denver is nothinggggg special and if anything plan to spend only a day there. Colorado itself is absolutely beautiful though and the nature is stunning. Just the city isn’t that great as a city.

Assalamu Alaykum sister ma sha Allah I wish u the best amin, and I just wanted to say that it's okay for the cat to be on the kitchen counter, it’s totally okay, they just want to watch and yes they can sometimes taste your food if they are hungry, just provide them with something else instead if u dont want them to eat your food, some treat, or give them their food, meat, or raw meat, not kibble, or play with them, you don't have to yell at him, just never do that please, it’s really not nice of u or your husband or anyone else, cats dont understand that and they will be afraid of u, cats are curious and like to climb to higher places, on the contrary, you should give them plenty of options, such as various high scratching posts, things to climb, resting places and the like, and u should give Simba a friend I think He will be happy and not lonely anymore, it’s better to have cats in pairs or even more in sha Allah amin

Since he's an animal, and doesn't have that kind of thought, the cat would have no idea why you didn't give it food. That would just be to make you feel better, which is cruel. You have no idea what you're talking about. I do agree, though, that they should not be on the counter
