How are you toggling between dark and light mode like that? I cant find anything that explains a hot key. I change the color for the Operating System but that doesn't affect the page.
I am using Raycast; it’s a free spotlight replacement program for macOS. Others are out there, too, like Alfred. You could also emulate that change in the the chrome dev tools. Hope that helps!

I really suggest building a custom calendar with React and using the API to CRUD the new interface. Would be a really really cool.

Yeah, Google API documentation isn’t great either. So it’s just a lot of googling and frustration in my experience. Glad I could remove some of that for you :)
