Thanks, Kyle Transparency for me is everything! I wish people in EXP Were sharing what they are doing or what’s their most successful approach or how to approach broker-owners instead of keeping to themselves…:) Real Brokerage doesn’t have as much innovation for sure, but as they attract more talent and get more traction they will develop and bring more to the table, I don’t doubt!
Thank you for watching Tanya! I'm an open book. I don't mind sharing my strategies and tips. People just have to understand it takes hustle and it's a grind to be successful!
Kyle - watched to end #EndCrew. Have been with eXp 6years. Still loving it! Thanks for your comparison between eXpRealty & REAL - helpful. Wishing REAL well. However, I believe in the eXp Realty vision of our Founder Glenn Sanford which we all can share - bec eXp was designed for all of us to thrive and build together. Love our Core Values. Love our eXp Family - eay to connect even all over the world. Love that Integrity, Transparency, Innovation, Collaboration, Community, Sustainability are among our Core Values at the heart of fueling our growth. Love our rich Diversity. I still continue to be amazed at the personal level of Collaboration I experience with members of our eXp family all over the country and the World! As for me as early adopter #872 I see eXp keeping on getting better and better !
The issue with eXp's compensation is that the larger percentages are delayed for the lower tiers. I'd rather grow the top 2-3 tiers at 3% to 5% than wait for it to accumulate on the later Tiers at eXp. It you do the math you don't need a huge compensation % at the bottom tier levels because of the compounding effects of your downline adding their agents. I'm happy with 1% (or $800 max if capped) of the thousands of agents that come on board in Tier 5 under me. At the end of the day, if you make it to Tier 5 with a big Tier 1 base you're going to make a ton of money either way it goes. The point is that Real helps you and pays you more on your way there.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on eXp's compensation structure. It's true that different individuals may have different preferences when it comes to compensation plans and how they prioritize the timing and size of their earnings. Your viewpoint highlights the importance of understanding the compensation plan of any real estate brokerage, including eXp, and how it aligns with your financial goals and business strategy. The compensation structure can significantly impact an agent's income and career trajectory. Ultimately, the choice of which brokerage to join should be based on your individual goals, business model, and personal preferences. Different compensation structures may appeal to different real estate professionals, and it's important to choose the one that best suits your needs and aspirations.
#ENDCREW Thanks for the comparison. Me personally eXp all the way. It has showed me all the support and training that I don’t feel like going anywhere.
So well done, Kyle! Thanks for the highly informative video! I definitely want to join EXP but I'm not yet licensed. I imagine I need to get licensed BEFORE i can join?
thanks for the extremally informative video. I haven't read through all of the comments , therefore i don't know if this was pointed out or not. You said only 225 agents have personally sponsored 10 or more agents. You said that was 225 out of 60,000 which leaves 99% with out 10 or more. But You mentioned earlier that REAl had 2500 agents and exp had 60,000. Possibly you meant 225 of 2500 or 90%. thanks again, very useful!
Hey thanks for watching! What I said was correct, eXp does, in fact, have 60,000 agents. Yes, only 225 have sponsored 10 or more, but there are a lot of agents that have sponsored 10 or fewer, which adds up to 60,000. eXp is now at 73,000 agents as it's grown since the publishing of this video!
You mean from the 85/15? On an $8,000 commission that would be $400. Total difference per year is up to $4,000. The difference between eXp's $16,000 cap and Real's $12,000 cap. (which I state in the video).
But you forgot on eXp they only pay you on the lower tiers after your top line is productive. If you have 7 people on tier 1 that don’t sell they don’t pay you on tier 2.
I was really interested in EXP, I like the fully cloud based aspect. However, I am reinstating my license after 4 years not working, and I want to sell a house I own and buy another this year. So with the 60/40 split during training it would be a very expensive choice. I notice you said we are allowed up to 3 personal transactions without added commission split, would that apply in my case for these first two personal transaction whilst still new to EXP?
Thank you for your observation. It's important to keep an eye on a real estate company's financial health, especially if you're considering working with them or investing. Consistent net operating losses can be a concerning sign. Ultimately, it's essential to make informed decisions based on a comprehensive assessment of the company's financial health and its long-term prospects. If you have specific concerns or questions about Real Realty or the real estate market, I'd be happy to discuss them further.
#endcrew Hello Kyle, I am a home seller and was curious about my agent's recent decision to leave EXP and partner with REAL. You are an excellent speaker! BTW, I love Tony Robbins, and I've attended numerous workshops. Thanks for your detailed breakdown.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts! It's interesting to hear about your agent's transition from one brokerage to another, as these decisions can have various motivations and implications. I'm glad to hear you found the detailed breakdown in the video helpful. Tony Robbins is indeed a well-respected figure in the world of personal development and motivation. Attending his workshops can provide valuable insights and inspiration for both personal and professional growth. If you have any more questions or need further information on real estate-related topics or any other subject, please feel free to ask. I'm here to provide assistance and share knowledge to help you make informed decisions in your real estate journey.
I'm not a fan. Ultimately, I don't believe in the flat fee idea for any brokerage. In a down market, these are first to fall. Combine that with even less margins due to their attempt at an eXp-like rev share and I just don't think it'll last. But I could always be wrong.
I appreciate your feedback and the honesty of your response. Making a move in the real estate industry is a significant decision and it's important to carefully evaluate your options. It's completely normal to have moments of uncertainty and to weigh the pros and cons of any choice.
Kyle, I am in san antonio as well. I am looking into Real Broker. your friends that are a part of it, are they in san antonio as well? i’d like to be put in contact with them . i’m looking for a mentor for when I possibly join that could show me in person the ways of real estate as well as ask a few questions. please message me

Thanks so much, Kyle! I can always count on you to give a balanced comparison between exp Realty and other brokerages.
Here to help! Thanks for watching!
One of the better analysis of the eXp and Real that I've seen. Thanks.
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful!
I've realized that there are pros and cons to being with any brokerage. I love being with Real Broker personally though!
Thanks for watching Cody!
I heard many unhappy with exp and going to REAL
Sure, there are some agents doing that. There are also many agents leaving REAL to come to eXp. 🤷♂️
Thanks, Kyle

I did also notice exp requires you to be a member of the board of realtors which costs almost an extra 500 per month here in texas
Membership in the local Board of Realtors is a common requirement for real estate agents, and the cost can vary by location.
Thanks Kyle for the video. You think you can make a video with your take on DOJ vs NAR in regards to how agents get compensated?
Great suggestion! I'll definitely need to do more research. Thanks for being a subscriber and commenting!
Great video.....I appreciate the thorough breakdown.....good stuff👍
Thank you Jeb, glad you enjoyed the video!! 🙏
#ENDCREW Thanks for the comparison. Me personally eXp all the way. It has showed me all the support and training that I don’t feel like going anywhere.
💪 Thanks for watching Veronica!
This is great. Would love to see a comparison of EXP and Fathom.
I’ll add that topic to my list. Thank you for the suggestion!
Man, very interesting and very informational. Thanks for the time it took to prepare this video. Great info
You bet! Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for the comment.
So well done, Kyle! Thanks for the highly informative video! I definitely want to join EXP but I'm not yet licensed. I imagine I need to get licensed BEFORE i can join?
That's correct Jenni. Where are you located? Are you considering getting your license anytime soon?
#endcrew. I'm currrently with Century 21 and looking to prepare for the future of real estate. Thanks for breaking each down.
You're welcome Stephanie and thank you for watching the video

#ENDCREW Well done and perfect timing as I just spoke to a couple of agents with Real.
Glad you found it helpful Gil!
#endcrew2 (I watched it twice) Great video Kyle, thanks for breaking it down and making it clear.
Glad you enjoyed it!
#endcrew ;-) Great video buddy. Very clarifying on the differences between the two cloud models. I'll see you in Cabo next month!
Thanks for watching Christian! Hit me up when you get to Cabo!
#EndCrew Thanks, Kyle. Revenue share is interesting. You've got a nice model going.
Thanks for watching!
Great information!! Thank you!
Thank you for watching the video Caadri
I think you should have added what the extra 5% would mean to an average real estate person from the split for Real
You mean from the 85/15? On an $8,000 commission that would be $400. Total difference per year is up to $4,000. The difference between eXp's $16,000 cap and Real's $12,000 cap. (which I state in the video).
Thanks a lot, man. Great video.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Kyle, thank you for this detailed breakdown/comparison. #eXpFamily.
My pleasure Joanna
My preference is eXp Realty
🙌
I think you nailed it, Kyle.
What do you think about an update?
An updated video on this subject?
But you forgot on eXp they only pay you on the lower tiers after your top line is productive. If you have 7 people on tier 1 that don’t sell they don’t pay you on tier 2.
That's not entirely how the 7 levels work. You need a certain amount of qualified agents on your level 1 in order to unlock the subsequent levels.
No unlocking needed if 5% at Level 1
I was really interested in EXP, I like the fully cloud based aspect. However, I am reinstating my license after 4 years not working, and I want to sell a house I own and buy another this year. yes it would
#endcrew current First Weber agent looking at other options. Thanks for the breakdown!
💪
I like both of them but I'm seeing that Real Realty has reported net operating losses consistently in the last 4 quarters+.

Thank you so much Kyle, great information
I have been actively looking into EXP and real, and leaning more towards real
Awesome! Which brokerage did you end up going with?
Can you tell me if I was to join EXP in one state would I have to be with EXP in any other state I hold a license?
Yes you would. eXp gives some grace period to transition both (all) but eventually they need to all come over to eXp.
#EndCrew and, as you know, I'm with eXp. :)
💪

I'm not a fan. Ultimately, I don't believe in the flat fee idea for any brokerage. In a down market, these are first to fall. Combine that with even less margins due to their attempt at an eXp-like rev share and I just don't think it'll last. But I could always be wrong.

It doesn’t make sense not to be with eXp Realty… at least from a financial standpoint
I'd agree with that!

Does Real Realty provide it's agents a free CRM?
No. He mentioned in the video it's an extra $25/month.
#mcrew
Interesting video. I’m on the fence of making a move. After seeing this I’m not 100% sure of Real as I was earlier
