Your conversation with Morgan Housel really hit home when discussing the balance between getting rich and staying rich. It's fascinating how the qualities that lead to success-like optimism and risk-taking-are almost the opposite of what’s needed to maintain it, which requires caution and even paranoia. It made me wonder: How do we, as individuals, cultivate both the ambition to grow and the wisdom to know when to slow down, without losing sight of what truly matters in life-like family, values, and inner peace?
Net worth truly snowballs after $100k! Keep investing regularly and you'll be blown away how much it can change in a few short years. Here's to $1 million and to FIRE!
Nice. People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $4 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks...

Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
