First time I watched,, goats sheeps hens ducks playing,, having a personality ; I think I cannot eat them anymore,, atleast I don't want to. You guys are magical.
Jambu fruit reminded of my childhood so much. When the jambu fruits beside our house ripened, my mom used to make 'sambal' made out of fresh chili, palm sugar, salt, and tamarind paste to dip the fruit in it. It's spicy and refreshing. That's my favorite way to eat jambu fruit, especially the kind of jambu fruit shown in your video, because the taste tends to be underwhelming when eaten alone.

I'm very much enjoying your book. It is so good. In many ways our life styles are similar, though I live on the other side of the world in snowy Canada. I read it with my morning coffee and Google the exotic trees and plants on my phone and read all about them too because botany and nature are major interests for me. I love the paintings.

I love the look of the Jambu fruit and would love one day to experience the taste.. So lucky that you managed to save one egg that hatched and then find a friend for her. The names Geraldine and Basil sprung into my mind for them, but whatever names seem right for you, they are so lucky to have come under your love and care.

How deep are your pools usually? The creeks seem to be very shallow. On the day this video hit TH-cam, I had my first experience of being the front runner of a goat race. My work place sells goats and for the exercise we let them run around the building before the customers comes in and after they all leave. It made me appreciate what you two do out in the rain forest and that you don't have to sweep up from any of your animals. Black duck = Lucky Yellow duck = Miracle

One of the things I’m impressed with is how nice your goats and sheep coexist. Our goats are horrible towards our sheep. They aren’t kept on the same pasture full time together anymore for that reason.
