R-101s, the magazine is different. And also, seeing people call Titanfall weapons apex weapons makes me genuinely sad.
The design is kinda the defacto futuristic mass produced assault rifle now.

Wait. It has been a very long time, but aren't the Bright Green Goggles basically non-canon? Isn't Sam the only one who can see them?

But as much as I crank the Hell out of my Brightness and Gamma, Sam remains cloaked in shadow, even when about to make his plunge -- at least unless I turn it to absurd degrees. I put emphasis on the goggles, because that is the only possible thing that gives him away. Sam doesn't make a sound. And what makes it a little more stupid, are the dumb tinted lenses of Deimos' mask, which makes any degree of shadow Sam is hiding in, that much darker.
Oh another note, the mask is stupid. It is really dumb. Yes, if looks cool, but on the other hand, you can't see a goddamn thing, and it is not stopping much in the way of ballistics, unless you catch a fairly forgiving caliber to the face. He's kind of just wearing it for Cool Points.
Yes, the green lights on his goggles are only visible to Sam Fisher. Honestly they nerfed the hell out of Sam in this trailer, standing in front of a mirror like that before attacking was such a rookie mistake, one Sam never would make. The "He's old" excuse doesn't work when he's consistently shown he bodies the other, much younger operators even at his old age. If we go by Splinter Cell games, Sam would've taken out Deimos and Keres Legion all by himself before dinner

I mean.
I agree that Sam absolutely would have. Deimos lasting longer than three adjacent seconds in a Hand-To-Hand conflict against Sam Fisher is, uh, funny. That is the word I'll go with.
But aside from that, Sam really doesn't lose this encounter.
I could go over the Cinematic in finer detail, but I'll just put it like this.
It takes Deimos quite a bit of effort to disarm Sam Fisher of his knife. In fact, he is incapable of doing this, without the help of gravity, hence why he threw him to the ground.
On the other hand, Sam Fisher IMMEDIATELY disarms Deimos of his Revolver, with such finesse and ease, that it takes him a mere two motions to do so.
One could nitpick that a Knife is much harder to disarm than a fuck-off huge revolver, and maybe there is a point there, but to stay on track: It takes Deimos nearly the entire fight, to accomplish what Sam did, the moment the fight started.
Also, Sam is physically stronger, despite his age.
He breaks free of a Chokehold from his goddamn knees, whilst simultaneously gridlocking Deimos' arms.
You can notice Deimos give a hard yank, in attempt to pull his arms free -- Sam doesn't even budge.
You know the only reason Deimos didn't just ice Sam when he had his revolver on his stomach is because fans would *actually* riot.
Really? I don’t interact much with the Splinter Cell community myself but I doubt they get pissed over a character dying when it’s a crossover event anyway
@@demoliman Crossover event? Sam is part of Rainbow 💀 He's called Zero because he helps train the operators and then some. When deployed on missions you had Harry who was Rainbow Six, Rainbow 1-5 being any of the operators, and him at Rainbow Zero meaning not a true operator but an operational staff member.
No, it is because Sam is faster than Deimos. He snaps the weapon away, disarming him immediately.
Something else I just noticed -- Sam can tell exactly when Deimos is aware of him. Notice he pauses in his approach, as soon as Deimos looks into the mirror, he waits for Deimos to make the first move, which Deimos does, leading to Deimos attempting to shoot Sam, but Sam has been doing this a lot longer than Deimos, he's more than ready for this, and is quick to disown Deimos of his firearm.
That's a long winded way of saying that Deimos can't plug .44 into someone's guts, when that someone happens to be a lot smarter than you.
That doesn’t make any sense the vendetta has a 5 shot cylinder here yet in game it has a scope and a 6 shot cylinder

In game he gone, in the cinematic, the bullet did not pen or ricocheted since it was not a dead centre hit, in real life that thing would have gone straight through, .44 is scary man
Well, #1 if you slow down the CGI trailer, the bullet gets caught in the glass, and #2, the cinematics don’t always need to be 100% like the game, like for example I’m pretty sure C4 doesn’t have that big of a range

@@508Cole508 i don't specifically know what Jyxnzi said, but all i know is that its a drone type thing that pings the nearest defender. (Yeah i saw them pretty decent atleast some of the terminal framework skin for orxy and sledge are cool other then else pretty mediocre).

Rainbow Six went from a franchise that put major emphasis on Squad Cohesion and Tactics, and should the player suck at these things, it was pretty unforgiving towards you.
It went from that, to what is essentially Counter Strike, but with way more gimmicks.

On the other hand, Sam almost dominates this entire brawl.
During this scuffle, Sam Fisher:
- Disarms Deimos.
- Avoids or outright Deflects almost every strike from Deimos.
- Lands more punches than Deimos does.
- Is able to break free from a chokehold, on his knees, whilst Deimos has superior footing, weight distribution, and frankly, a hold that is incredibly difficult for anyone to break free from.
- Not only does Sam do so, he simultaneously gridlocks Deimos' arms upon returning to his feet. Look closely: Deimos tries to break free, but Sam does not budge. He is incapable of outright overpowering Sam.
- Considering the way Sam is holding onto Deimos' arms, I suspect he would have proceeded to dislocate said arm from its shoulder. Deimos has lost autonomy of not only one arm, but both, and really, his only option here to attempt to headbutt Sam in order to free himself, as he is otherwise outdone.
But then, Rook shoots Deimos, and the fight ends.
Sam may have been thrown, and disarmed of his Knife -- which for Deimos is of the upmost priority, so it is no surprise that his first order of business was to distance Sam from his knife, but I will point out, that it took him FAR longer to do this, than it took for Sam to disarm Deimos of his Revolver.
Aside from that?
Sam had control of this fight, and only lost that advantage for maybe three seconds.
