One of the most attractive features of Canberra is that no public advertising is allowed, and no suburban shopping centres or shops are visible from the main roads: they are hidden from view. Also no telegraph or electricity poles in the streets. Trees everywhere. Also worth seeing are the Australian Zoo, the Australian Mint, the National Film Archive, the Australian Institute of Sport, the Australian National University, local wineries and the list goes on...

    PR: Can’bra.
Great place to live, work, study, raise a family.
Situated between Melbourne and Sydney and 90 miles inland to be safe from naval attack.
A pity it wasn’t located at Nowra on the coast.

Canberra is a brilliant city to live in. Well planned and intelligently maintained, it provides a phenominal standard of living with plenty of opportunities. There is no shortage of wonderful people that live in this great city.
Plenty of great places to visit, enjoy and appreciate. 🙌

To my humble being, this is the first comprehensive, concise and informative capsule of the Australian capital. Excited we stay for yet more to come our way from Australia.

As a resident of Canberra it was disappointing to see so much footage and photos included that are not from Canberra. Footage from the various locations was also mixed up between the locations. Car parking at the Portrait Gallery is not free. The National Arboretum and the nature reserves at Tidbinbilla and Mulligans Flat are also popular places to visit as well as Namadgi National Park.

Many of them died off when they legalised them. It took the ‘naughty’ out of it.

This video has incorrect information. It is all over the place. I was raised in Canberra and some of the rivers are 100 of kms away.

I believe you mention in the commentary that Captain Cook 'discovered' Australia. Apart from the fact that people have lived in Australia for about 60,000 years, the first Europeans to discover Australia were the Dutch in early 1600s-the Western side of the continent. Please don't be fooled by people who live in the Eastern States of Australia that their side of Australia was discovered first. Captain Cook was late to the Great South Land and relied on navigation of sailors from many other European countries.

The Dutch also called into Tasmania on their way to New Zealand - so it's not just the western side.

Actually the Portuguese were the first by navigating from Malacca and East Timor. You can see the map in the National Library of the East coast of Australia by the Portuguese. For some unknown reason the Australian British government is hiding this detail from the public.

Why at 9:50 Zulu dancers ? This is Australia 🇦🇺 not South Africa 🇿🇦, the best thing about Canberra is being a resident you can grow Cannabis and legally smoke yaself of ya chops
