I'm visiting my sister in Colorado and she invited a friend over to stamp. I showed them how to make this card. They turned out beautifully and we had a blast making them. Thanks for the tutorial.
Pretty, pretty! I DID buy that suite for my girlfriend (out in Kansas) & my self (in SC)! Really looking forward to playing with it!! You were talking about how much people like to get our cards. I took my Christmas List & sent most of the ladies Mother's Day Cards. Some of them were really surprised that I thought of them! And just yesterday I mailed out Father's Day Cards. I had fun making them. A few of them will be surprised, too!! Now I can work on birthdays & anniversaries!!
the layer behind the flowers definitely needed a little something. the spiral binder edge actually looks good. it's unexpected as it's not along the same theme as the elegant flowers and i think that is why it works so well. i have the paper but now i see the need for the dies. thanks for showing your beautiful card happy crafting!
Thank you for sharing this. I love the colors in Hues of Happiness. I made four cards and they turned out stunning. I''m going to give it a try with the tulip set. I loved how you showed how versital this style is, including the card done in grey tones. Love it!!!
Cute fun fold! Thanks for sharing and just to let you know I thumbs upped and Shared your video to Pinterest. Cheers, Heidi from Down Under (Australia) 🙃 💞 🐨 💖 😊
I just made one using a strip that is more pink and yellow with a cluster of yellow roses on the white square. I love it! I did use a different embossing folder for the bottom edge.
Suggestion, rather than say like we normally would (scoring) assume some are new and need directions for that too. I enjoy your style and sharing thought process
Beautiful cards! Need to get the die set and the paper. Loe that little bird as well. You such an inspiration. Where do you find all of your card ideas, they all are so exquisite and very elegant.
Thank you so much! I do like leaving some white space on the card - I think it adds elegance. I get inspiration from Pinterest, card swaps, and from the Stampin' Up! catalog.
Can you possibly put your dies facing up, so that it's not cutting into the magnetic plate? I love your cards and you're very good at following and a pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Beautiful! Love the paper and the fold! That embossing folder is yummy! I’m a new subie and I clicked the bell for all your videos. Thank you for your step by step tips and technics!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful fun fold! I can’t wait to try it. I do have a question about this Plate #5 that you showed/talked about. I don’t see it in the new catalog and I called SU but they had no idea about Plate #5.
Hello, so sorry about the confusion. Plate #5 is not currently available. We had a magnetic plate a while back, but it had some quality issues. SU! stopped selling it for the time being. Not sure when/if it will be available again. Glad to hear you liked this card, I hope you will make it and send it to someone special. Happy creating!
where can I find the measurements for this card? I just subscribed to your tutorials but since this is an older you tube, I would like to have the measurements Love this card
Thanks for subscribing, Linda. The card base dimensions for this card are 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" and 7-1/4." Hope that gets you started. Happy creating!
i should probably watch the whole video before i start commenting so i could put it all in one! with the card horizontal, the only way to display it is vertical? do you think the flower section needs to lower down to create the bottom edge of the card? so it stands up for display. still loving the card. great work!
This one dies not stand for display (although most of my Crafternoon fun folds do - have you checked out my Crafternoon Playlist here on my channel?). But you can always stick it to the fridge with a magnet!
Hi Sue I love this card so much and have been crafting along with you, the only measurement I am not sure of is the one you did for the top in the die cut piece. I was wondering if you could give it to me please?
The die cut piece is 2-1/4" x 5-1/4". Do you subscribe to my free weekly project sheets? The project sheet for this card will go out (once again) in the email tomorrow. You an subscribe here: suestampfield.com/subscribe/ Happy creating!

Hi, Sue. My electro-physiologist simply recommends that I not lean over the machine. I have an implanted defibrillator, and I've used a magnetic plate carefully and safely for years! I would recommend that each person check with her/his electro-physiologist and/or cardiologist. XO

So pretty. Where do you get those magnetic sheets you store your dies in?
I get them from a company called Stamp-n-Storage. They ship anywhere in the US I believe.
I hope you are all safe and well

Love the card. Love tacking the flap down! Never even thought of doing that. What stamp set is that cute little bird from?
It's called the Sweet Songbirds bundle and comes with a cute punch for the bird! So glad you could tune in!
Very pretty but how do the cards stand up
This design does not stand for display. Of course, the recipient could display it on the fridge using a magnet.
I like the card and the new style fold, but I wish you had stood them upright. Do you stand them up landscape style or portrait?
My camera is overhead so it’s hard to show the cards standing up from that angle.
Beautiful card and the colour is lovely x
You could use a vellum square
You could do a vellum square to see more if the paper
Great idea! Thank you!
Love your card and the fold. Do you have the dimensions of each piece listed somewhere?

That said, I do caution my customers who have pacemakers; and, during class, I have someone else do their die-cutting for them.
Good to know - thank you friend! Probably wise to play it safe!
Hi Susan
It’s been raining all day here in Queensland Australia but it’s not cold

The paper is Hues of Happiness 12 X 12 Designer Series Paper.
Magnetic plate where do I buy it
Sorry, Jonna, the magnetic plate is currently not available from Stampin' UP!
Where did u get the white card with sprocket holes down left side?
It is actually a die in the Blossoming Happiness die set! It cuts the spiral edge - so cool!
Go to the 42 minute mark of the video to see the die
Where do I get the magnet sheet
The magnet cards for storing the dies are from Stamp-N-Storage.
The # for magnetic cutting plate doesn,t work..help pls
Unfortunately it has been discontinued due to quality concerns. So sorry!
What is the name of the die set ?
Hi Joan, this project used the retired Blossoming Happiness dies.
How do I find this card on your website. I searched by easiest fun fold ever and that wasn’t it. Sorry.
Hi Terri! You can get a detailed project sheet for this card when you join my project sheet emails. This is one of the project sheets that comes in the welcome email once you verify your subscription request. You can subscribe here: suestampfield.com/subscribe/
How do they stand up?
The horizontal version is not freestanding. However if you do the fold as a vertical card it stands. Just change the direction of the flowers.

Hi Susan, just wanted to let you know there is something wrong with your video. There is no sound at times. Would love to be able to watch it in full.
Thanks so much for letting me know Donna. I'm so sorry you are having difficulty. The sound seems okay on my end.
