So happy for you guys!! My husband and I bought our forever home in 2018, to say it was a fixer upper was an understatement. Put our blood sweat and tears in that reno and realized why not do it again lol Here we are now on a 16 Acre farm in Rochester Ma… Luckily, the house didn’t need too much renovating so to fill in my free time we are living a dream that we never knew we had on our family homestead. Three dairy Swiss five milk goats and too many chickens to count. If you don’t live life spontaneously, you’re not LIVING life. If we live closer, I would’ve let you borrow my goats for the weekend. They would’ve had that property cleared in no time. 😂

This house feels like HOME! I loved the other house and everything you did, but you had obstacles from the get go with the other house. It just wasn’t meant to be! This move seems to have been smooth sailing from the beginning. Welcome home guys!! Would like to know if the kids have to change schools again and how they’re feeling about everything. 💕

As soon as I saw the picture of the big room ...❤❤❤ then you showed the "yard". ❤❤❤ GET Momma O and Aunt judy to help plant veggies and buy a goat for the brush and you guys are homesteaders❤❤❤
Slow and steady wins the race. You’ll be moved in before you know it. You have a beautiful backyard but that’s a LOT of grass! You have plenty of room for a new pool if you decide to add one!

Looks like a huge yard with all kinds of fun and potential. Wow, it’s going to be fun seeing what you do with this lovely place! What a lovely patio area. Home is where your family is, wherever that is, however it changes. As kids, we loved moving and making a new to us our home. It was always a fun and uplifting adventure. I know it is for you too. We are so happy for you, your house looks wonderful and you can "do moving "with more grace than most people. We have moved two times in ten months and it was a tough thing to do even with all the help you had It was a daunting task I looked at it as a way of purging the things that I was on the fence about before so cleaning is a great way to enjoy a move
We moved three times when we were first married. Its hard, worth it and exciting 😊

I love love the backyard! It is just gorgeous with all that greenery and the size is amazing. There’s plenty of room later on down the line to add whatever you want, I love the stone and large patio area you guys had at your last two houses. It was always great to see the kids ride their bikes and scooters. However, now that they are all getting older that volleyball court will be great. The family room is so pretty and cozy, love the fireplace and French doors connecting you to the outside. My thoughts on the kitchen, very nice size and plenty of room. Maybe down the road you can lighten up the kitchen cabinets which would make a huge difference. I really love this house so far. Thanks for sharing.
Why would you be sad? The house is beautiful and the yard is amazing. I'd move into a shack I could fix up to get that yard and mountain view. I mean come on, its gorgeous! And that home is definitely not a shack, I totally understand your pull to this property.

I don’t think you need to give any attention to the people leaving negative comments. I feel you are just planting the seed for more. Some people strive on negative attention. It’s all they can get. And it’s sad. It is nobodies business why you sold your other house. I mean it ! NOBODIES. I’m proud of you. It’s not what material things you own. It’s how you work w/ what you have. I happen to think this house is much better than your other one. It’s cozier, it has character, that the other did not. It seemed sterile. I love the built-ins next to the fireplace. I wouldn’t touch them. I wish you the best of luck on your adventure!

You all built a beautiful home that would be perfect for a family with many little children and took care of it until the right people came along. It was fun watching you all doing so much of the work yourselves. You can be proud of that. This new home is absolutely gorgeous. I love the Tuscan influence even if it is not the current style. :) Also that yard mmm lush and lovely and with the nice patio and view of the mountains oh my gosh!

They made over a million dollars from the sale of the other house…if internet sale prices are accurate.
Personally, my taste is more this house. I’ve never been a fan of modern, clean lines, it’s just too sterile to me and would make me afraid to relax and “live” in it. This looks like a “home”, not a house. The yard is so big and you can do so much with it. I think your views are 1000% better as well. So much more relaxing and secluded. Best wishes on this new chapter. ☺️
