I beg to differ because he is still in front which means he has the right to go in on the line he chose to go into. Anyway, it is racing, so things tend to get a little more aggressive.

Oh yeaa, car racing usually has that side mirror right? So drivers can see the car behind so if they intentionally blocked like that, then yea, it is a bit unsafe and dangerous driving.
As for bikes racing, theres no side mirror to rely on so the riders behind need to be more alert of their placing before start attacking.
