Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with adapting 35mm lenses to the GFX. I am currently shooting a Fuji X-T4 with adapted vintage lenses only and I am thinking about getting a GFX. Your videos are very encouraging and very honest at the same time! However before making a decision my idea was to test the image circle of my lenses on the ground glass of my 5x7 large format camera to get an idea which lenses I might adapt. And the 3 lenses I have for Mamiya Press should work anyway as they easily cover 6x9. Again, thx a lot for your very informative videos!
Hi Peter, Thanks for covering this. Is the Zeiss 200 f3.5 Contax TeleTessar a good buy for 170Euros to use with 5Dmk3? Looking forward to your suggestions. I mostly work portraits but have a EF 135mmL F2 as well. How different would be they from each other?
@@PetersPhotographyFilm Thanks a bunch for encouraging my possible next purchase 😇 Please suggest the required mount adapter to use with EF mount 5d3 or 60D. Asking as the multiple mounts of contax is a bit confusing for novice like me trying out vintage lenses.
Hi Peter - what are your settings and menu options to get the magnified screen for focusing? I got the GFX50S recently and can't find the option for it at all. It's been suggested to use the rear dial but that only seems to toggle between Standard focus assist and Peaking. What is the correct option in the menus?! Thanks!!!
@@PetersPhotographyFilm Thanks but I think I tried that and it was the same. I tried a hard press on the dial, it toggled between the two modes and then a soft press on the dial and it did nothing. This was the same using a Fringer EF adaptor and also the Fuji to Hasselblad adaptor with an H lens. I'm away from the camera at the moment; I might try a complete reset and see how it works after that.

Thanks for the Contax lens reviews. Are the 200mm tests shot through an open window, or through glass? Thanks.

Hi .The CZ 200f3,5 is very nice portrait lens . Biggest differences are bokeh and colors. 170 Euros is good price for lens in great condition .

I would use one if I didn't already own a Canon 200 mm F 1.8

Try 3way switch on left side topof to display on M or S and pres back dial .
