    Hi Mike, I liked this video about Persian turquoise. It is pretty accurate. As you mentioned:
    • Ajami: the most valuable turquoise stone, it is clear and blue in colour.
    • Shajari: it contains a matrix and inclusions.
    Other types include the following:
    • Choqaleh: a very soft type of chalk turquoise that must be stabilised before being used in jewellery.
    • Narm (Narmeh): small pieces of broken turquoise stone used in inlaid handicrafts (Firoozeh Koob).

    When you talk to your tray of turquoise it's really sweet 😊 like the turquoise is napping and you don't want to wake them
