The call back to the Jekyll and Hyde cartoon, the brilliant jokes, the rewatchability, the wonderful silliness of a Thomas the Train Transfomer...it's perfect. I like when the bootleg toys are actually *good* like this. Fun as it is to see shitty zero-effort bootlegs and knockoffs getting based, there's only so many times I can see the same kind of bland "it's an action figure of poor quality" before they all start to blur together. So the ones like this are really refreshing and fun to watch.

Just to set the record straight, this figure is a KO and retool of the STD version of Liner Dagwon. You can tell it is a KO of the STD version by the lack of any individual transformations for the trains.

There’s a 3rd party masterpiece Astrotrain that is also called Thomas! I love that’s a recurring motif for Transformers Bootlegs, But at least this has Thomas’ face so it makes more sense.

i never watched thomas the train as a kid, it scared me to death. that creepy happy face on the front. so many willies. especially since it was like "real", like not a cartoon, looked like it was really there moving around, scared the crap out of me. was terrified of sesami street for all the same reasons lol
My Transformable Tomas came for me today. That's right, they've spelled Thomas wrong on the card he came on and came out Tomas. Also his legs are tight as hell and it's almost difficult to move them. And also his claw arm will not fit into the hole socket because the peg is too big. Plus he comes with a VCD which features Chinese children songs.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, and I know I'm 7 years late to the party, but the version at 14:05 seems to be a knock-off of Travelion from Mahou Sentai Magiranger, or the Solar Streak Megazord from Power Rangers Mystic Force. Even has Magiking's as well as Wolzard's swords from the same season. It's definitely been modified, but the arms are immediately recognizable. I also love that the image on the package is inverted from the actual toy. lol
I actually had the Non-Thomas The Tank Engine themed version of this toy called Loco Squad 3 in 1, its literally almost identicle but the red train is black and gold, and the there is no Thomas faces.
The Constructicon Scrapper is the leader of his team, and even that, Hook forms the head of Devastator, so we could consider Thomas to be the leader of the Super Thomas team, even if James forms the torso and head.
There actually used to be this fan made series of Thomas as a transformer called "trainformers" the series ended with Thomas dying which is sad but yeah I think this might be based off that
This episode made me go buy one. I was not disappointed , it’s great and has a fair number of differences from Pheloses mainly in the texture and stickers and a few small things .
Oh man. The first time I saw this thing, it was in an SMG4 video. I thought it was just one of the many crazy funny things he made up for his videos! I didn't think this Thomasformer actually existed!
A little bit of history and such, but I'm pretty much sure that this is just a knock of Liner Dagwon...but with (sometimes) old train types, the lack of their own robot modes or a Super Liner Dagwon like thing, and (again, sometimes) Thomas faces.
