My iPad mini 6 is my everyday notetaking machine, also for Reading ebooks, Building my second Brain in my freetime as well as in the Office. This Pierce of tec was the best buying decision for a Long time. Love it
Upgraded from the 2018 11 inch pro as well. Also wanted more portability! Still use my old iPad when I need to typ more (with Magic Keyboard), but use my new mini 7 for almost everything else!
I also have the 2018 iPad Pro and got the mini 6! I love the portability. as much as I loved the pro, I just don't reach for it anymore after graduating college- plus the battery is bad now

I have an ipad air and same sentiments, too big to carry around. I just pre-ordered the mini 7 last week then I'll sell my ipad air. If ever i'll be needing a bigger screen in the future, i'll just get an android tablet. Cheaper than an ipad and still get the job done. 😊

It depends what matters to you the most. My 2018 iPad Pro was fine and didn’t see the need for the M2. Portability was important to me so the mini solved this problem.
iPad os is limited compared to Samsung/Android. Only thing going for the Mini 7 is the form factor. The WiFi range is poor compared to my Samsung Z Flip 6.
I think that’s fair! The thing with the 11 inch is that people try to turn it into a computer because it feels like it should be one. With the mini the thought of turning it into a computer doesn’t cross my mind and the thought of using it as a phone also doesn’t cross my mind 😅

On my work computer I use Obsidian as my second brain. What app do you use as your second brain on your mini?
@@daneondemand onenote, simply because i can better "print" PDFs and Mark them there, doodle in the sides and use pictures. Way do you use Obsidian?

The mini 7 isn’t perfect but it definitely has earned a place in my line up!

How’s the battery life in daily use? Plans to get one next week.
So far I haven’t had any issues. I plan to do a video after 30 days of usage testing this and other things.

This is a review. People should know it's limitations.
iPadOS is the reason why the iPad mini is the only iPad that is worth considering. The Air and Pro are not worth the price.

To me 11 inch is the perfect size a tablet should have the mini just feel like an iPhone pro max with Apple Pencil without promotion 😅

If you want to save a bit of money go for the usb c pencil
I wish the previous Apple Pencil was compatible as well. I don’t think the upgraded pencil pro makes my life any more easier.
