Sis, this is a humble request. Please pin this so that everyone can be careful about the error at 17:23 related to HNO3 's reaction with Zn. Hydrogen will not be liberated when acid is HNO3 because it is a very strong oxidising agent and oxidises the Hydrogen produced into Water. :- *Zn + HNO3 -> Zn(NO3)2 + H2O* Hydrogen Bubbles will not form thus pop sound will not be produced. I was surprised about me being wrong thinking H2O will be released instead of H2 because I trust your teaching a lot. I had to confirm it on Google to be sure about if Water is released or not. You are a Human too so it's natural but you should be more careful. 🗿🧪
@@jyothikomanapalli8486 HNO3 is a strong oxidising agent and upon reacting with any metal except Magnesium and Manganese in very dilute aq solution, releases H20 instead of H2.
In activity 2.3 you are kind of wrong when hno3 (nitric acid) reacts with metal it doesn't release hydrogen ,hence it's an exception,so not all acids given react with metal .Pls correct it
17:30 *Note* HNO3 (nitric acid) + metal ----> salt + H2O This reaction will not produce salt and hydrogen gas because nitric acid is a strong oxidising agent.

Here is copper oxide and copper oxide are basic in nature therefore it reacts with acid and make the corresponding salt and water (neutralization reaction)
17:35 observation will not be same ...in case of nitric acid HNO3 following reaction will take place---- Zn+HNO3--->Zn(NO3)2+NO2+H2O H2 will not form in this case because HNO3 being a strong oxidising agent oxides h2 gas to h2o
Di in activity 2.3 there is a question that do all acids given below will react in same way then u have said yes but the answer will be no as hn03 is strong oxidising agent so no h2 gas will be released.....😊
It will be endothermic because In endothermic heat is absorbed In exothermic heat is released Here, the test tube is heated and then the reaction is taking place that means the heat is being absorbed by external source which makes the reaction happen In exothermic the chemical reaction itself produces heat without the need to heat it externally. Hope that helps
