Phage the Untouchable was the first ever “woah” card I pulled from a booster when I was 12 years old. I remember thinking it was the coolest card ever. This brought back some good memories, so congrats to whoever pulled that one. And I hope whoever got that Akroma held on to it because it’s worth some money today.

Now all slivers say "creatures you control." Imagine two people playing sliver decks before this and their creatures are giving their opponents creatures buffs and other abilities.
Top cards in legions. 1. Synapse sliver 32$ 2. magma sliver 20$ 3. brood sliver 16.50$ 4. Seaborn muse 15$ 5. Noxious ghoul 13$ The foils of these are up to 200$.
Love seeing these old boxes opened! It would be cool to have a set like this again with all creatures but the rares and mythics would have to have activated abilities with the power of instants and sorcery. It would also have to be somewhat a couple of tribe based. Like elf, goblin, slivers etc and have to not be standard either
Funny that you mention Noxious Ghoul, I've been looking through my collection for some cards to sell off and I have a foil Noxious Ghoul from Legions. I was shocked to have something pricier than my Consecrated Sphinx.

That's my absolutly favorite set of all time, with my biggest childhood mamorys. I'll nerver forgett when i pulled scion of darkness as a kid and i thought this has to be the best card ever besides akroma, Angel of wrath and phage the untouchable. Yes, i wasn't the smartest kid, but i was 10 years old when it came out.
I like the focus on the cleric creature type. They didn’t really add more to that until recently with Zendikar Rising. Sadly the ones in Legions seem very low power level.
I would love for them to do type sets. Or mini blocks. One mini set of all creatures, one of all artifacts, one of enchanments and one for instants/sorceries and lands. Heck even if they didnt make new cards, just pull previous cards from different sets and reprint them in this one. That way if people are looking to ramp up their artifact collection or something like that, it's easier to. Also think it would be cool if the did put one new card in each mini set, but this card interacts with the other 3 set cards. Makes it worth purchasing the other mini blocks. Also, would love for them to do a cryptid creature type. But like, out of magic lore. Stuff of legends that not everyone believes.
13:28 I wasn't nervous. These old sets replaced the same rarity when there is a foil. So a pack with a foil uncommon will have 2 normal ones instead of 3 and a foil rare means no normal rare.

WHen my dad died when I was 14 I was so depressed that I was losing my friends and moving again thinking i would never play again I GAVE away my binders full of rares not knowing value was :( Torment and legions top sets for me.. I wanna find the legions book series, akroma and phages story was awesome if I remember right.
Those foils are just b e a utiful, and if another set came out like this I would like to see a focus on dragons but that’s just me. I love some more bad ass dragons but there was a lot that came out in AFR so probably no set will focus on dragons for a while lol.
I started with Odyssey, but Legions prerelease was my first sanctioned event. It sucks they did away with the DCI number I got with it. I still have my card.
"premium cards" means foils. You arent very likely to get more than 2-3 foils in these older boxes since the odds are 1 in every 2 booster boxes, but it does happen sometimes.
Also, the foils replace a card in the rarity slot that it belongs. So if you only got 2 uncommons and you know theres a foil then its an uncommon. You cant get a rare and a foil rare :)
The box looked in rough shape with the seam ripped on the right edge, how does that happen. No disrespect, just seemed a touch off, good luck on the packs all
Torment is worth way more the legions. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT CRACK THEM. Either set on them until you need money or sell them now because they will Exponentially grow in value over time
