As a bad melt diluc player i can say that the thing you do so much better than casuals is your timing. You know when to attack and not to attack so you csn melt all your hits. You sir are a king 👏

hey pulyn, great video! I'm learning to be a Diluc main myself and was wondering how you felt about Vape (with C2 Yelan) vs Melt Diluc and which one you think is better overall for maximal output. Also, is WGS significantly inferior as a choice compared to Redhorn which seems to be a great crit stat stick? And how replaceable is Kaeya with Rosaria? Thanks!
In single target vape diluc with yelan assuming you have aqua should have both higher dps and higher dpr than melt diluc with kaeya. In aoe you have to use rotations that play around big vape yelan skills to clear waves which can be a little tricky at lower investment. At the max level in the current content it is pretty even between the two in aoe as Kaeya's damage gets directly multiplied based on how many enemies he's hitting while yelan only gets that benefit on her skill. Kaeya also has the added benefit of C2 procs which can increase his damage output by a very large amount in multiwave chambers. I prefer melt anyway since in aoe situations the yelan vape team feels more like a yelan carry team than diluc, which I don't like that much.
I wouldn't say WGS is significantly inferior to Redhorn especially if your artifacts are very high CV like mine. At the kqm standard its around a 10% difference between the two if WGS never procs, and at my artifact level its around a 6-7% difference. WGS does proc in actual combat, so the gap would be closer than that but it's hard to account for properly. To give you an idea though I calculated WGS getting its proc for Diluc's melted burst and the difference between it and redhorn went down to 4%.
I haven't played much with rosaria since I got kazuha. I would say kaeya is definitely replaceable with rosaria, but her application is a bit slower and her ult being confined to a circle makes me prefer kaeya.

thanks for the comparison between redhorn and WGS, i don't have CV values like yours so I'll keep farming artifacts for now haha. Did you farm the Crimson domain or did you just end up using the strongbox for your artifacts? If so, which domain did you farm? Thanks!
Ahh i got you so Rosaria is basically more circle impact (I'm not a fan of it either even Bennett circle gameplay tbh) so Kaeya would probably be better

@@Bread011 my diluc is c2, can see in the build sections. C6 Diluc has fast attack speed and his normal attack combo doesn't get interrupted by skill usage so it's pretty easy to spot.
Oh a C6 Kaeya, the only cryo character than can make Pyro DPS forward melt without cooldowns.
C6 Kaeya doesn't enable the team to work, it just increases his own damage.
@@pulyn how can you be this clueless with your own character? I'm not gonna explain it to you further. Did you know that C6 Kaeya is the only Cryo character that can apply cryo without ICD? Thus making any Pyro characters do forward melt on every hit.
@@draspen You're either trolling or incredibly misinformed. Kaeya still has an ICD whether he has 3 icicles spinning around him or 4, and the number of reactions is the exact same in this team between c0 and c6 kaeya.
@@pulyn how can you be this bad? Even me who doesn't even have Kaeya's C6 knows his kit pretty well. Sure it has ICD, but is is fast enough to apply cryo for a forward melt reaction to any Pyro DPS in the game, all thanks to his extra Cryo application in his C6. There's a reason why forward melt is almost non existent META in the game, only guy who can do that consistently is C6 Kaeya.
