Fairytale is one of my favorites by Dreamcatcher! The song is so '80s and pretty.
It's not 80's music...that is early 2000s Rock sound...
It's a song that just feels like it represents how they've felt since the wins and Primavera and the tours...that they're literally doing what they always dreamed and still can't quite believe it. It really comes alive when they do it live too...
For me, "Fairytale" is the best B-site so far. Most recently, Dreamcatcher played this song several times with a live band at their "Helloween" concerts in Seoul (October 29/30, 2022) (there are some videos of these concerts that are worth seeing and listening to). The short instrumental - the sound reminds me a lot of Johnny Marr's guitar (ex The Smith) in his time with "Electronic" - was played there with electric guitar. In general, this song has something timelessly magical - just because of the excellently harmonizing voices of the girls and the melody, which I find very beautiful.

This _completely_ feels like a Disney Channel Original theme. I felt exactly the same. But it also showcases what they can do so well--and pair it with a title track to demonstrate range? Amazing. It's even more addictive live, honestly; they're full of so much joy in this.

Thanks for this great reaction and commentary! Recent KPop convert here, and just discovered Dreamcatcher. Falling into the DC rabbithole, just like I fell into the BAND-MAID rabbithole a year ago!! The first time I heard Fairytale was a live version, and it gave me the best goosebumps. This song was the 'Yep, I'm a fan of this group' moment for me, just like Daydreaming was for BAND-MAID.
Please can you react to forestella (bohemian rhapsody and je suis malada ) they are Korean group with amazing talent . They had a bass singer . You will love them
