This depends on the university and institutes. Some have their in-house exams or engineering entrance exams, some consider the state-level entrance test score and some consider the JEE Main score.

Generally, for BTech in Biotechnology, the Maths score is not mandatory. You can apply through Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks.

Maths at times is not a mandatory subject for admission in BTech Biotechnology courses. In some universities, you can apply for biotech without maths, but a maths course is mandatory in 1st semester or 1st year.
A combination of PCB/PCM/PCMB can let you get admission to BTech Biotechnology.

Admission to the BTech Biotechnology program at IIT Madras is through the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) (Mains) and JEE (Advanced) which are conducted at various centers across the country. The general category candidates must have secured at least 75% marks in Std. XII board exam (with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biology or Biotechnology or any of the equivalent qualifying exams. (65% for SC-ST category candidates).

For JEE Main 2024, students need to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is no question from Biology subject in JEE main 2024. However, admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs is still possible through JEE main 2024, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

(VIT - Vellore) - PCMB/PCB applicants who have attempted Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (BPCEA) in VITEEE 2024 are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology
TIET -Based on NEET - 2024 score or with at least 60% marks in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Chemistry and, Biology.

@@laxmigoyal22 abhi IISER aur NISER ke exams dungi, baaki cuet wagerah bhi hai to usme try karungi. agar tum 11th mei ho aur thoda alag kuchh karna hai to design colleges bhi dekh sakte ho, achhe courses hai usme bhi like Product Design etc. IIT Bombay mei bhi design courses offer karte hai and admission ke liye alag se UCEED karke exam rehta hai. Warna bio se related kuchh karna hai to feel free to ask ^^
